MIRALCULOUS HELP OF AN  AUTO DRIVER TO VISIT KAKA DIXIT’S HOUSE AT MUMBAI–Audio

I am Damodara from Bhubaneswar (Odisha). I visited Junagadh (Gujurat) during 2006 on official work. But as there was no direct flight from Bhubaneswar, I got down at Mumbai for the next flight on next day.

At Mumbai, I stayed with my younger brother Brundaban, who was then working as senior manager, in Indian Overseas Bank at  Mumbai.

After the dinner he enquired about the telecasting of Odia television serial Shirdi Sai.When I told about an episode on Kaka Dixit he said, “While I was working at Villeparle Branch of Mumbai I visited Kaka Saheb Dixit’s residence and availed the opportunity to see a beautiful and magnificent picture of Shirdi Sai Baba.

People says that on request of Kaka Saheb Dixit the famous artist S. Jayakar painted two pictures of Sai Baba with the blessings of Baba at Shirdi. One of those picture is kept at Dwarakamayee for worship in Shirdi and the other one is kept for worship at residence of Kaka Saheb Dixit.

If you can spare some time before your return to Bhubaneswar I will arrange a visit to Kaka Saheb Dixit’s residence for Darshan.”

I readily agreed at this proposal and silently thanked Baba for this opportunity. Accordingly on my return trip from Junagadh to Bhubaneswar I got down at Chhatrapati Sivaji International Air Port at about 6.00 P.M.  and met my brother Brundaban at the airport.

When we went to the taxi stand none of the taxi drivers agreed to go to Villeparle. So we walked a little distance from airport and tried for auto rickshaw. But none of them agreed even if we were prepared to pay more than the actual fare.

With disappointment we returned back to the airport taxi stand again and moved from one taxi to another with the hope to get a taxi. But no one agreed to go to Villeparle.

My brother was worried but I told, “Brundaban, there is nothing to be worried. It is Baba’s wish. If He desires, we can visit Kaka’s residence or else we will visit during my next trip to Mumbai.”With these words I silently prayed to Baba for His kind help and guidance.

 Lo ! within no time an auto driver came and asked, “Sir, do you need an auto?” My brother looked in surprise and replied, “Yes. Will you take us to Villeparle?” Auto driver said, “ Sir, the normal road from Airport to Villeparle is under repair and I have to move in another route. If you will agree to pay more I will take you to the destination.

” My brother readily agreed and said “Kindly move quickly to Kaka Saheb Dixit’s residence at Villeparle in whichever route you prefer and we will pay you accordingly.”

The auto driver agreed and we safely reached Villeparle at about 8 PM. I paid him the fare as He asked and thanked Him for the timely help. The auto driver took the fare with a smile and left.

Then we proceed to Kaka Saheb Dixit’s residence and met his grandson who helped us for the darshan of Sai Baba. We prostrated before the magnificent picture of Baba and then discussed about some leelas of Sai Baba related to Kaka Saheb Dixit. At about 9.40 P.M. when we left Kaka’s residence his grandson gave me a photograph of Kaka Saheb Dixit with Sai Baba and Guruji Chandra Bhanu Satapathy along with a packet of sweets as a return gift.

 During our return from Kaka’s residence we discussed about the miraculous help of the auto driver at a crucial time at airport which materialized our darshan of Sai Baba. Instead of spending time to know the real identity of the auto driver let us bow down at the sacred feet of Baba and sing His glory with a sweet smile.
