Swamy Sai Sharananda came to know that Kaka Saheb Dixit and his wife are going to Shirdi from Bombay in May 1917 .

He went to Railway Station with his brother-in-law to send Garland of flowers, Fruits and some Dakshina through them. His mind was filled with spiritual matters. He wanted to go Shirdi personally so that the same would be presented to SAI BABA by himself. Hence he decided to go to Shirdi along with Mr&Mrs Dixit

After presenting to SAI BABA, Swamy Sai Sharanananda felt that he would come back immediately with them. However he had to remain in Shirdi for many days.

SAI BABA’s devotees could not decide on their going back, the decision would be only SAI BABA’s. He was there at Shridi for 21 days. During that time SAI BABa gave many experiences to Sai Sharanananda.

One experience out of many is narrated below:

Once Sai Sharanananda ate a chutney made with bengalgram, masala and coconut. It was very spicy in taste. Hence he got repulsion in his body and vomited the entire thing out. When he went to SAI BABA the very next day for Darshan, SAI BABA said ‘Whatever is not in our share If you eat it, it will come out.

Whatever be ours would be with us only. Whatever be not ours would go away from us.

This is not limited to food only. This principle would apply anywhere and for anything

If we observe this principle, we neither have to fear for losing the one which is available, nor do we have the worry about not getting it. This was informed to Shamrao Jayakar also by SAI BABA through an experience.

Once Jayakar gave Rs. 4000/ as loan to a Muslim Lady. That lady was not returning the amount. When Jayakar asked SAI BABA about this, SAI BABA said ‘Why to worry to get sinful money back?’ He could not follow the SAI BABA’s words.

Two to three years had passed. Muslim lady lost her entire wealth. Then Jayakar could understand the words of SAI BABA that if at all he gets back that money, it would not remain with him.

Be content with what is available was teaching of SAI BABA.
