BABA ATTENDED MARRIAGE CEREMONY IN FROM OF PICTURE–Audio

I am Harapriya, from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. I am sharing one interesting Leela of Sai Baba. During 2013 we were searching from a bride groom for my daughter Priyambada.

 But we could not get a suitable match for her. I prayed to Sai Baba for his blessing and in due course of time we got a suitable match for her. With Baba’s blessing all arrangements were made and Invitation card were printed.

As per the Odia tradition always the first invitation card is submitted at the feet of Lord Jagannath but my husband insisted that the first invitation card of my daughter’s marriage ceremony would be given at the Lotus feet of Sai Baba as we have accepted Him as Guru and God.

Accordingly, we all the family members went to the Sai temple, prayed Sai Baba and invited him to attend the marriage ceremony of our daughter. Then we distributed the card at the Jagannath Temple, Maa Mangala Temple and to nearer and dear ones.

We could not arrange a Mandap near our residence that is why we arranged it at a Hotel near Khandagiri Square.

On the schedule date we were arranging for the marriage ceremony at the evening and suddenly the hotel care taker telephoned and said, “Madam, it is already 7 P.M. None of your family members is present at the reception gate. Two Non-Odia guests have arrived and waiting for you.

 I telephoned to my husband and we reached the hotel as soon as possible to welcome the guests.

When we reached at the reception gate Madhavi and Goutam Adhikari grated us and handed over a precious gift. Madhavi requested us to open the gift and handover it to our daughter Priyambada.

Accordingly, we opened the gift and were surprised to see a beautiful framed picture of Sai Baba.

Tears rolled down from our eyes as we were very fortunate that Baba had accepted our invitation and came to bless us as the first guest of the marriage ceremony. (This Sai Leela has a similarity with the Sai Satcharita Story “Visiting Hemad Pants House in from of His Picture.” narrated in Chapter-40 by Sri Hemad Pant).

We took the Baba’s photograph and placed it near the marriage mandap. We lighted a lamp and prayed for his blessing.After that all the guest and invite arrived at the Hotel one by one and the marriage ceremony was over peacefully with Baba’s blessing.

Sai Baba’s Leela’s are instructable. We realised His words “my Tomb will speak if you call me with Sardha and Saburi.”
