Ganpati Dond was going to Shirdi for SAI BABA’s darshan from Nashik to Manmad with his family. There was no one else in that train compartment. The robbers rushed one after another and boarded the train to rob passengers. That family did not know that they were robbers.

Ganapti was reading Bhakti Marg Pradeep loudly. They also sang Bhajans and thought that those who just got in to the compartment would also  take part in it. Five Minutes had passed. The robbers got down from the train as if someone was chasing them. Ganapati could not understand what had happened and seen back.

There was a Fakir sitting calmly. Ganapati Dond was surprised that when there was no Fakir when they boarded the train, how did he come? Again after seeing the fakir was not found. Was it a dream? Got surprised Ganapati Dond.

On reaching Shridi when they had the Darshn of SAI BABA. Baba asked them ‘Have you traveled safely?’.

Then Ganapti Dond could understand that the Fakir he saw earlier was none other than SAI BABA. This miracle happened before Maha Samadhi of SAI BABA.

Here was miracle that occurred on May 22nd, 1948 to one Ahmedabad Resident Rati Chimanlal. He boarded the train at Ahmedabad to go to Shirdi with some of his friends.

They were playing cards and talking. Train passed the area of Nizam. Arrived at Gulbarga.

Worry started in Chimanlal’s mind as the entire India at that time was facing the turmoil on division of India. That area was the center for Terrorist Activities. Chimanlal told his friends that there would be some trouble. All laughed at him.

Ratilal, however, started the chanting of Sai Baba’s Name. Half an hour had passed. the Train Reached Ganugapur. The robbers group having weapon began to rob the travelers.

Rathilal was doing SAI BABA non stop Nama Smarana. One Pathan appeared from somewhere and stood in front of the compartment of Rathilal. No robber fought with him.

Train started and reached Sholapur. Except those in the compartment of Rathilal all have complained about the Robbery that took place.

Who was that Pathan? He was none but SAI BABA. This was the feeling of not only Rathilal, but everyone travelling in the train.

May SAI BABA save us even in Journeys too!
