There is no mediator between the devotee and the Lord. There would not be any obstructions between God and Devotee.

In Sri Sai Sachcharita, written by Hemadpant, it is said that a family came from the state of Madras and visited Sai.

Adilakshmi Ammal was the wife in the family, and Govinda Swami was her husband.

Adilakshmi Ammal, her husband and their two children went on pilgrimage. They reached Nashik. Narsing Maharaj there advised them to have the darshan of SAI BABA.

They stayed at SAI BABA’s presence for more than a month and a half. SAI BABA used to give Sweets and Two Rupees to them every day.

Adilakshmi Ammal was the devotee of Lord Rama. At times she used to get the darshan of Lord Ram too.

As materialistic matters occupied her mind, she could not get the Darshan of Lord Ram often.

After reaching Shirdi and having the Darshan of SAI BABA, her devotion has reached the past stage.

On August 30th 1915, she prepared herself one hot dish of Bujjees, and another sweet dish of Payasam (Khiri) to SAI BABA.

She kept the dishes with most devotion to SAI BABA at Dwaraka Mayee. Who can do more than this?

But another devotee of SAI BABA, Durgabai kept the plate of Adilakshmi Ammal at distance from SAI BABA.

But SAI BABA moved slowly towards the plate of Adilakshmi Ammal and finally took the plate of Adilakshmi Ammal.

The Naivedyam was then distributed to those present there, Shyama and others and empted the plate.

Adilakshmi Ammal has got the pleasure on SAI BABA’ doing this.

‘SAI BABA knowing our hearts, responded to our love’ said Adilakshmi Ammal.

Nothing else could be there except Devotion between God and Devotee.

God has love for one presented with love. God never wanted Pomp and Show, nor required five types of Dishes (Pancha Bhakshya Paramannamulu).

If presented with love, single handful was enough to God. Whatever we offered to God, it should be with love, and faith.

Then only God receives it, this should we have to understand this.
