SAI BABA used to say ‘Eat less, satisfy with one dish only, and do not go for tastes. Do not sleep more’.

Baba used to sleep very less. Those who indulge in sleep’s comforts, they would become lazy. All the bad habits would come to them. Khaparde on 29^th January 1912 has woken up little early. One should not sleep again to compensate that sleep.

If sleep comes to a person, he should try to control. He used to do satsang everyday with others & read Parayana Books. But that day Parayana could not go further. He was feeling very sleepy & hence slept. It was time for Noon Arati. He could not wake up. Shyama has come & tried to wake him up. Others could not wake him up despite trials several times.

This was known to SAI BABA, who was in Dwaraka Mayee. SAI BABA said that I would wake him up. SAI BABA not moved though He told to wake him up.

Arati started. Khaparde has woken up. SAI BABA has not woken Him(In person). How he woke up could not be known to Khaparde. He felt ashamed for sleeping like that.

Here SAI BABA has not woken Khaparde by Himself going there.  at time God has to wake one up.

Shri Shantarama Swamy of Maharashtra has changed himself as Saint & settled in Kashi.

He used to do parayana of Maha Bhagavath Puran. Weekly once the parayana used to be completed by him. Like that he has done 10 years. Not only that, he used to talk to God directly.

He used to wake up at 4 o’ clock in the morning regularly. When he failed to wake up, Lord of Kashi Vishweswara used to tap the doors & made him wake up.

Always likes His Devotees, God & Guru.

Though attained Maha Samadhi, SAI BABA woke up. M.V. Sahasrabuddhe was sleeping on one afternoon.

‘Wake up at once. A person was sinking down on a sand fallen from the top. Go & save him’ SAI BABA thus woke him up.

Immediately he wake up, & gone to the place he works, & saved that person. Or else Sahasrabuddhe was indulged in a case;  in addition one person’s life was to go.

Let us not sleep more!
