Wake up, Wake up…Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 15th July

Jain Acharya Simhagiri came to a town called Tumbivanam. He is giving discourses there. One rich man called Dhanagiri was influenced by the discourses of Simhagiri.

He informed his wife Sunanda too about the matter. She was also listening carefully the spiritual discourses.

There was severe change after hearing the discourses of Simhagiri. He told his wife Sunanda that he wanted to become a Jain Monk.

At that time Sunanda was pregnant. She requested his husband that does not become the Jainism Monk leaving herself and the child to born.

But Dhangiri was adamant. He has made the arrangements for the purpose. Without having any other option, she agreed for this.

Her husband has taken the Deeksha and left home.

Sunanda has given a birth to a handsome boy.  Though she was rich, the absence of her husband has made her pained.

She performed the first birth anniversary of the boy very grandly. Had Dhanagiri has left home after taking the deeksha, the birth day would have been more grand everyone felt.

The word Deeksha has taken important to the ears of that tiny child.

That boy could remember his previous birth. That tiny boy was crying day and night continuously.

The mother has shown that boy to many doctors, but nobody stopped the cry of the boy.

She could not understand what to do. She got fatigue over the incident.

Her little angry has become as worry. On getting angry was there was no result.

Both Dhanagiri and Acharya Simhagiri have arrived Tumbivanam once.

Dhanagiri while wanted to go for Bhiksha, took the permission from Acharya Simhagiri.’Bring today as Bhiksha the lively item today’ said Acharya Simhagiri.

Acharya Simhagiri’s words could not be understood by Dhanagiri. But there is something Dhanagiri thought.

Dhanagiri has called for Bhiksha at his house itself. The tiny boy cried more on hearing the call of Dhanagiri.

On feeling happy after seeing her husband she told that she told about the cry of his tiny child.

The cry was increased more. She will offer the child to Dhanagiri as alms. The husband said that once the bhiksha was done, the (mother) would not be able to conceive the child again.

Astonishingly that boy was laughing loudly. The boy was given as Bhiksha by Dhanagiri.

On seeing the Lively Boy as Bhiksha, Simhagiri has named that boy as Vajra Kumar.

That boy was not crying. He learnt around 11 Shastas by listening only at the age of his three years.

That boy was a scholar himself told to Sunanda. She asked the king to give his son to herself. The king then asked the decision of Vajra Kumar.

That boy has seen the presents that his mother brought him. He has seen a sweeper in the hands of his father.

He has taken that sweeper from his father and danced and singing with happiness. At last the mother agreed.

Vajrakumar has become a learned Jain Acharya. The date and other particulars were not available.

Let all feel for God, let us pray for it.
