Very rare were the Saints or Sages who strive for the welfare of the people after attaining Self Realisation.

SAI BABA was foremost in striving for the welfare of the people says Shri Pratti Narayana Rao (The person who translated condensed version of Shri Sai Satcharitra in Telugu).

SAI BABA utilised His entire lifetime for uplifting people in the right path. SAI BABA has no secrets.

The Masjid where SAI BABA lived had no doors or windows. Anyone could reach Him. Anyone could have proximity with Him. There were no distinctions to SAI BABA.

Booti, an owner of property of crore of rupees, has reached SAI BABA’s Darbar.

Not only scholars and learned people, but even uneducated, poor too has got the blessings of SAI BABA.

Astrologers used to visit Shirdi and tell about the future in a very confident and great manner. All class of people irrespective of differences of cast and creed used to come to SAI BABA for His Protection.

To quote one such instance on February 7th, 1912, SAI BABA while sitting near Dwarakamai was watching a person making the monkey show tricks and playing as per his training

We cannot imagine the spiritual heights SAI BABA has reached! Such great SAI BABA has come to watch the play and tricks of the monkeys. This indeed is astonishing.

But there is inner meaning to this. Humans are monkeys. He Himself (SAI BABA) was a Creator. SAI BABA was watching the play of humans by pulling the ropes of Karma in His hands.

There was a singer and dancer along with that person who was playing the monkey. The singer was having good voice and she sang some religious songs. SAI BABA heard them.

The people there also heard her. SAI BABA did not see the distinction between the person who sing in bazar and Himself.

The learning is – we should never discard or disrespect anyone. Treat all the rich and poor around you alike. Do not discriminate looking at their positions in the society…This is the behavior Sai expects from us. Do not hurt Sai Baba with unacceptable behaviors
