It was 13th March 1924. One Harda Resident Krishna Rao Narayan Rao Parulkar reached the banks of River Narmada in the evening along with his family.

It was almost getting dark at that time. They had to reach other side and had to cross  River Narmada. They were supposed to reach the place early but since they experienced an issue with the axle of the cart in which they were travelling…they got late / delayed

Even they explained the reason for their delay and were ready to pay more, but none come forward for crossing them over the river. The entire family got dejected. Krishna Rao then decided to go back.

In the meantime, an unknown Fakir came. Forcibly the Fakir told the boat man ‘We were travelling from one place to other place me, Take us to the other side of the shore’.

That Fakir also enquired Krishna Rao’s Family ‘You also wanted to go to other shore? Wasn’t it?’. They said in affirmative.

They informed the reason also to the Fakir. But the boat man refused to come. Then the Fakir asked ‘Who was the authority to supervise all these things here?’ ‘All this was under the authority of English men’ replied the boat man.

‘Ok. I will go the Police station now itself and bring the orders’ – saying this the Fakir went towards the station.

Then the boatman politely said to the family ‘I would take you to other shore, please come’ He did not give any reason for changing his mind .Further, he was making Krishna Rao’s family to hurry. Everyone quickly boarded the boat with their luggage. The Boat started and reached the other shore safely

Tears were rolling  from the eyes of Krishna Rao’s Family. They could know that the Fakir was none other than SAI BABA.

‘Ignorant people like us and those who were caught in the wheels of worldliness could not keep faith on the Feet of SAI BABA, unless He shows this type of miracles.

I pray SAI BABA to grant us Faith in His Feet’ said Krishna Rao.

SAI BABA not only made us to reach the other shore,  but the Ocean of Materialistic world also could be crossed.
