Sai was known to Maharashtrian by Hemadpant,

to Indians by B. V. Narasimha Swamy

and to Westerners by Arthur Oshborne.

Oshborne and Narasimha Swamy served Sri Ramana Maharshi. Their similarity continues that their maiden literary works are famous.

Arthur Oshborne was hesitant to write biography of Sai in English and planned to entrust to some writers. The publisher was unable to find a writer hence requested him to write the book.

“The Incredible Sai Baba ” is a Masterpiece by Arthur Osborne.  Narasimha Swamy permitted him to use information from His Sai works. The First Edition was published in December 1957. The introduction Epilogue was written by Kahangad Ramadas.

“KALAPRAPURNA ” ( Title in honour for a person well versed in Arts and Literature ) Sri Maruvooru Kodandarami Reddy translated the work in Telugu.

Influenced by Hindu Philosophy Yoga, London born Oshborne reached Tiruvannamalai ( ARUNACHALAM ) and stayed with Bhagavan Ramana for several years. He wrote many works on Sri Ramana.

The Divine enlightenment of Sai, the Godhead of Shirdi amazed Oshborne. The Incredible Sai Baba is a literary Masterpiece. Baba’s teachings are Peerless Guide to generations.

Later Dr. Poranki Dakshina Murthy translated the same in Telugu with title “Maha mahimanvithulu SaiBaba – ee kalapu adbhut yogi (Incredible Sai Baba – Wondrous Saint of this age “).

There is no religious involvement in the quest for truth of this book and also written about Ramana Maharishi and Ramakrishna Paramahansa how they responded in any event. The work of Arthur Osborne highlights in simple language The Spiritual Greatness of Sai and exalted the Hearts of the readers.

On 8 May 1970 Arthur Osborne merged in Sai Ramana.
