Three songs are being played before Kakad Arati for SAI BABA. Out of the three, the last song is ‘Aum Jaya Jagadeesha Hare’.

It is not at all an overstatement to say that there were none who could have not heard this song. Not only in the temples, mandirs, but in individual houses too this song is heard. With a very few changes in the lyrics, this song was attributed to Lakshmi, Shiva and other Gods while giving Arati to them. God is the same in whatever form He exists.

The author of this song was on his Death Bed. ‘There were two famous Hindi writers in India. From today onwards only one would be there’ – thus told that he was a famous Hindi writer.

It was not his ego or arrogance to say this. It was a truth says many literary experts.

The name of the author of the song was Shri Shradhdharam Fillouri. Though he passed away, his glory is ageless and deathless.

He was born on 24th June 1881. He was Hindu by birth. His wife was a Sikh.

Shri Shradhdaram has got special place in the Hindi literature.

The first Novel in Hindi “Bhagvavati” was written by him. That was not the thing.

This novel was given as a present to the Bridegroom by her parents.That was the greatness of that Novel.

Shri Shradhdharam was a reformer. He used to tell all that it was not a crime to have born as baby girl, there was no difference between girls and boys.He made his readers as good reformers. Such was the reformer attitude of Shri Shradhdharam.

The book authored by him ‘Punjabi Baatchit’ was a text book for ICS officials under British Government.

Shri Sradhdharam’s song “Aum Jaya Jagadisha Hare’ found place in many films too.
