Any festival in SAI BABA’s presence could not be done without Radhakrishna Mayee.

It was not only festivals, but for performance of Aratis also Radhakrishna Mayee’s name is prominent. Radhakrishna Mayee was in deep sleep once, it was time for Noon Arati. The plate for Arati and other material should actually come from Radhakrishna Mayee’s house only.

Arati material came late. But SAI BABA was not angry on Radhakrishna Mayee at all

In fact, she has the endurance that was equal to Mother Earth. She was matchless in endurance.

It was Guru Purnima in the year 1914. (Generally, Guru Purnima comes/falls in the month of July). Radhakrishna Mayee has to move a big mortar (grinding stone) to prepare Masala items. A devotee by name Rege has come to help her. Another devotee Raghu Veera Bhaskara Purandare had also arrived there. Both Rege and Purandare were helping Radhakrishna Mayee to move the mortar.

The mortar was to fall on Rege’s finger.  His finger would have smashed. But Radhakrisna Mayee has skillfully turned the mortar towards her. While turning the mortar towards her index finger was crushed and there was a wound. The blood was oozing from the wound.

Immediately Radhakrishna Mayee took a cloth and wet it in an oil to bandage her finger.

Remaining work of moving the mortar was completed by her. She completed cooking and other works were also completed .

She called Rege. She went to a secluded place with Rege. She started crying till the pain on her wound stopped. She tolerated the wound as she felt that all the works would be stopped. Till the completion of all the works she endured the pain.

She has not felt that though she working for SAI BABA, why her index finger got crushed. Could it be possible for others to tolerate like Radhakrishna Mayee.

We could conclude that Radhakrishna Mayee was the embodiment of twin lessons SAI BABA thought us Shraddha and Saboori.

Any work she was doing with total Faith. She never lost her tolerance whatever time has taken to complete the work.

Let us all habituate ourselves to Shraddha and Saboori like Radhakrishna Mayee.
