Bala Krishna! I will reach you to worship! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 8th July.

Radhakrishna Mayee from Pandaripuram visited SAI BABA. She was a devotee of Lord Krishna.

The name of Ramakrishna Paramahansa’s devotee was Aghoramani Devi. But all call her as Gopaler Maa!

As she developed love towards Lord Krishna, she was called Gopaler Maa means mother of Gopala.

There is no limit to her love towards Lord Krishna. She went to see Jagannatha Ratha Festival once.

She had the darshan of her Lord Bala Krishna in Jagannatha. It was miraculous Darshan itself.

She was able to see Lord Krishna in the people who pulled the Chariot.

It would be of great significance to see God in all and everything. She saw Lord Krishna in her pet cat also.

That pet cat slept in the lap of sister Nivedita once. On seeing this somebody kept it away from her lap.

Gopaler Maa told very harshly to the lady, who has driven away the pet cat  that “Do you know what you did? Gopala was leaving and Left already”.

She was a devotee. She used to do Meditation too. Once to see her, Ramakrishna went to her room.

She was meditating at that time. There room was filled with Mosquito’s and other insects.

She was indulged in God’s Meditation without bothering. One of the persons who came for her darshan next-day brought a Mosquito Net for her.

That night she sat for Meditation, but her entire concentration was on that Mosquito Net only.

She kept on thinking the net might get bitten either by a Rat or a Cockroach. She observed her thought process.

She gave back the Mosquito net to the person who gave her, as it was creating obstruction to her mind to reach Lord Bala Gopala.

“It (this mosquito net) is turning my mind away from God. I don’t want it.” – told Gopaler Maa.

She was remained alone. How could she remain Alone? Lord Bala Krishna always remained with her indeed. She never expected any service from others.

Gopaler Maa merged in Gopala on July 8th, 1906. Today is July 8th, Gopaler Maa’s death anniversary. Let us remember her words.

If anyone asks her to give initiation, she used to say that “Ask the Lord , He is within you. Except Him no one can give you initiation. That is true, if you cry with pure heart, you would reach Him”.
