Jaya Jagadeesha Hare! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 –27th July

One day Jayadeva and his friend were going to have the Darshan of Puri Jagannath going through the jungle. Jayadeva felt thirsty. There was no water available there.

Then at last Jayadev prayed Lord Jagannath for water. The Lord gave darshan and his thirsty was fulfilled.

SAI BABA used to clear the thirst of His devotee Nana Saheb Chandorker at Harischandra Gutta.

Jayadev thought of Brindavanam, A tree called Kadamba, Yamuna, Krishna, Radha, Gopikas in his mind.

Then Geeta Govindam was released through his mouth. Before reaching Puri, Jayadeva has got the darshan of Ten Avatars of Lord.

He incorporated it in the Geeta Govindam as Jaya Jagadeesha Hare.

He could not write a charanam in Geeta Govindam,and it stopped.

He tried much, but failed to comply he went out. When Jayadeva went outside, Lord Krishna Himself completed that verse as ‘Dehi Padapallava Mudaram…’

This type of incident we could find in the life of Potana also while writing the Poem ‘Ala Vykuntha Puramulo.

Once Jayadev going in a forest, he has not put any revenge on the thieves who have cut his hands.

Although the thieves were recognised, He gave them presents, and he offered prayers for the Thieves liberation.

Oh God you have liberated the people called Kansa and Ravana after they become your enemies.

Then why would not you liberate these thieves he prayed the God. That is the proof for his Large Heart.

Once at Puri the Lord’s cloths were torn. The reason could not be known to the King and even priests.

They prayed the Lord. Lord visited the Garden where Geeta Govindam was sung by someone.

Then Dress was torn due to the thorns Lord said. Then everyone felt the importance and sweetness of Geeta Govindam.

Then the King has arranged singing of Geeta Govindam in Jagannath’s presence.

The postal department of Government of India has released a Postal Stamp on July 27th 2009.

Govindu(Lord Krishna) was caught by Jayadeva.
