Devotees used to call SAIBABA as SAI Maa. The contemporary of SAIBABA was Baba Jaan.

Her place of stay was Poona. Stay means she did not have a house of her own. There was a Neem Tree in the Cantonment of Poona under that was her stay

SAIBABA used to stay in the dilapidated Masjid which was not having either doors or windows.

Baba Jaan liked to call herself as Mother. There was a reason for it. Prophet Mohammeed said those who love the universe were Women Community, those who love God were community of Men, and those who love Heaven were community of Eunuchs.

Baba Jaan used to remember God always. That was why She was thinking that She belongs to the community of Men.She used to take lite food  like SAIBABA. When someone arrived to Her shivering with cold, She has given them the Shaal that She was wearing.

SAIBABA’s hand was burnt. His devotees called Dr. Paramanand from Bombay to treat SAIBABA. SAIBABA did not allow to treat. Baba Jaan used to wear rings to all her fingers. They were not gold or silver rings, but Copper, Iron and Bronze ones. As a result, she used to get boils which she used to tolerate, She was even prepared to remove the finger too. But she did not allow the doctors to treat even though the infection was severe

 ‘‘You take this one. I do not want this’ SAIBABA said to somebody who presented Him a Silver Palanquin.

When that Palanquin was kept in Dwaraka Mai, someone stole the Silver Horses of it.When SAIBABA was informed, He said why Palanquin totally was not stolen. This was what SAIBABA’s attitude towards Wealth.

Similarly one Bombay devotee presented Golden Bangles to Baba Jaan. One night one thief has come and stole them. Baba Jaan knew this. Rather she was helping the thief to steal by remaining silent. This shows her not having lust towards the wealth.

SAIBABA used to say ‘My treasury is filled abundantly. But no one has brought a vehicle to take that’.

Baba Jaan used to say that ‘No one was willing to take the articles that I wanted to give; I would give them back to the persons who gave them’.

Baba Jaan has taken Maha Samadhi on September 21st, 1931.

Let us at least procure those articles!
