‘It seems that What SAIBABA did spiritually, the same was done by Gandhi ji in Politics, Finance and Social fields’ says Shri Panditharadhyula Nageswara Rao.

SAIBABA has become pioneer in following Non-violence, Truth, Not Stealing, and Non-acceptance of gifts, Hard Work, Controlling the Tongue, Fearlessness, and Equal view of All Religion and not following untouchability.

Gandhi ji has followed the same in Politics, and became a Sage.

Another Political Sage who was born on October 2nd was Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri.

He did not have a own house in his life, even though he was the Prime Minister. SAIBABA was also lived in a dilapidated Mosque and didn’t own any building on His own.

Modesty was SAIBABA’s Breath. No one has earned such a prominent place in the hearts of people like Gandhi ji in the recent past.

Gandhi ji got the title Mahatma by the people. Gandhi ji himself felt that ‘Mahatma Title’ which people are attributing to him, should in fact belong to Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa. Gandhi said, his humble and simple Life Style is cultivated from Shri Rama Krishna Paramahansa.

Like SAIBABA used to say that whatever the attributes he has all come to him by His Guru.

SAIBABA gave great importance to TRUTH and adored it on a high pedestal throughout his life.

In the similar way Gandhi’s whole life is seen by him as his experiment with truth.(The title of Gandhiji’s autobiography is “The story of my life experiments with truth”).

Sai Baba has experienced others pains and difficulties as his own proving many times his body and life is for the service of others, not for his own.

Once a Nationalist Gopala krishna gokale posed following question to Gandhi ji

‘If you are going in a forest along with your parents, what will you do if you encounter a lion?’

 Gandhi replied in a serene way, ‘I would save my parents by offering myself as a food to that lion’.

In politics also one can progress spiritually like Gandhiji did.

Today is 2nd October, Gandhiji’s Birthday. Let us offer our tribute to Gandhi ji whole heartedly.
