The father of K.M.Bhagavati was a businessman. Bhagavati was sick since his childhood. Many medicines were used, but of no use. One Fakir was standing before the house. That Fakir told the mother of Bhagavati, to go to Shirdi where a saint called SAIBABA lived. She told this to her husband. In 1918, father of Bhagavathi went to Shirdi and had the darshan of SAIBABA and told him about the illness of his son.

SAIBABA then blessed and advised Him to put silver anklet on the feet of the boy.

The work for which he has come was finished, now he had to attend a business meeting at Bombay. Accordingly he sought permission from SAIBABA, for which He replied to go after some time. If he stays for some more time, it would be difficult to catch the train. But he could not disobey SAIBABA’s words and started after some time. That day the train which he had to go had arrived late. Then he understood the meaning of SAIBABA’s words.

On reaching home he made silver anklets and put to the feet of Bhagavati. Bhagavati was completely cured and had become healthy.

With increasing age of Bhagavati, he use to add some more silver in order to make them big. Bhagavati had attained 32 years. On seeing these anklets people use to make fun of him saying Sai Baba has put legcuffs

Not tolerating this, Bhagavati asked his father, when he can take out the anklet from his leg.

Father was surprised. He said, go to Shirdi, and after performing Pooja to SAIBABA, the anklet may be removed from the leg. He further told him to ask the sansthan what could be done to the Sansthan Trust by them.(as a token of gratitude)

After some time Bhagavati’s father passed away. Then Bhagavati with his family went to Shirdi in 1950 and asked the Sansthan that in what way they could be useful to Sansthan.

All works were completed by then in the Sansthan. Only Electrical works was remaining.

Bhagavati has taken the Electrical Contract from the Sansthan and completed the work satisfactorily.

Bhagavati could not have the answer to a question that what was the relation between the removal of anklet and his father’s death.

However, he completed the works of Sansthan with utmost satisfaction as per the wishes of his Late Father. His father’s soul rested in peace.
