When Sai Baba lived there was no proof of him leaving Shirdi except one or two villages . However He knows the happenings in other  distant places . Even He knows about other Sages (Sadguru) also. SAI BABA not only mentioned about them, but said that their Physical forms were only different.

A Saint (Mahaneeyudu) by name Kaka Puranik was staying at Dhopeshwar. Dr. Pandit was Kaka Puranik’s devotee. Dr. Pandit once visited Shirdi & applied the religious marks across Baba’s forehead (Trupunda Rekhalu) & sandal paste to his neck, till then no other devotee did like this to SAI BABA. Dada Kelkar who was present in the masjid that day asked the reason for allowing Dr Pandit to do like this SAI BABA said ‘Even though he was Brahmin, without doubting that SAI BABA was a musalman, Dr. Pandit worshipped Him thinking as his Guru (Kaka Puranik)’.

Hari Vinayak Sathe was a high government official in Poona.

Then Kaka Puranik went to Poona & stayed at the house of a devotee by name, Dev.

Sathe has invited Kaka Puranik to his house. Kaka Puranik gently refused as He has no free time. Sathe then went to office. Immediately on reaching office, Sathe got a message from Kaka Puranik.

Soon on receiving the message Sathe arranged vehicle to Kaka Purannik to reach his house.

Sathe also reached his house.  Kaka Puranik arrived the house of Sathe.

Sathe was strait forward natured (Mukku Sooti Manishi). He used to speek directly with everyone.

‘Maharaj! When I requested you in the morning you said you could not come to my house. But you changed your mind. What was the reason?’ Sathe asked Kaka Puranik.

Showing the photograph of SAI BABA at Sathe’s house, Kaka Puranik said ‘SAI BABA could not leave me until I come to your house & see you’.

Let us have the devotion of Sathe in us!

Kaka Puranik left his mortal coil at the end of February i.e Magha Shuddha Trayodashi.
