Baba fed me sumptuously in Thailand–Audio

Aum Sairam,

My husband and I had been on a 3 week vacation to Thailand, Bangkok during Nov 2012.

One morning that was a Thursday we went around sightseeing and shopping. It is was pretty hot. By about 1 pm my husband became too tired and wanted Indian food.

The autorickshaws there are known as Tuk Tuk. We hired a tuk tuk and asked him to take us to an Indian restaurant. He did not understand our language.

After some time he dropped us in a street corner and asked us to find our way. I was restless. My husband was feeling giddy.

I prayed to Baba for help.    I noticed that someone had tapped on my shoulder. I was surprised to see an old Punjabi lady standing behind me. She spoke to me in Hindi and said there was a Gurudwara nearby where free food (langar) is offered to all.

But food was over even there because it was past 2pm. She carried a tiny plastic bag in which she had some sabji and two rotis. She offered to us. I felt humbled and thanked her.

I asked her to guide me to a restaurant. She was kind enough to hire a tuk tuk for us and took us to one Sagar Indian Restaurant.

She called the owner and told him we both were her guests.

When we stepped into the Hotel, my heart missed a beat. I saw a life size image of Sai Baba. I was in tears. I wonder how he dragged us to his place. I thanked that old aunty for her hospitality and upheld Baba’s leela.

The shop owner prepared vegetarian food and served us with great love and care. My husband and I ate peacefully and when we went to pay the bill, the owner refused to accept money.

But I understood that he was in great financial crisis. So I quietly dropped some bhats( their currency) in his money chest and thanked all of them from our heart.

I am so indebted to Baba that he takes care of me and my family as a loving father.
