Before His Mahasamadhi, or after His Mahasamadhi SAI BABA was not confined to Shirdi’s Territorial Boundaries or not limited to Human Form only.

In Shri Sai Satcharitra, it is mentioned that before SAI BABA’s Maha Samadhi SAI BABA has Given Darshan as Snake in Balaji Patil Nevaskar’s cattle field.

All in the home were worried as they felt that SAI BABA was not in the form of snake. However Balaji Patil had a strong faith that SAI BABA was in snake form.He did not feared, but brought a  bowl full of milk & kept before the snake & said peacefully ‘BABA! Why are you angry? Why this agitation? Do you want to scare us? Take this bowlful of Milk’.Everybody are fearing. After few seconds the snake disappeared.

SAI BABA has attained Maha Samadhi. It was in Coimbatore. On January 7th, 1943. There was a SAI BABA’s Mandir there by that time.

It was around 5.30 in the evening. About four feet long snake has come to the Mandapam of SAI BABA’s Mandir, somebody saw it & shouted that ‘The Snake come here’.

Every one left the place on seeing it. The snake has gone directly to the picture of SAI BABA. That Snake danced for about 10 minutes in front of SAI BABA’s Mandir. Though the snake was ten feet long, none of the people present feared. The entire night the Devotees were doing the Bhajan. But the snake was like that only and was not moving absolutely

On dawn, devotees read Astottaram, after performing worship the devotees put flowers on the head of the snake. That snake did not do anything to anybody.

Then they called a photographer. He has taken the photographs. A bowlful of Milk was kept in front of the snake.

It has taken the milk. At about 11 the snake disappeared while going towards north.

There was not even a anthill of the snake near the SAIBABA’s mandir or its surrounding areas.

After this incident they have built a Mandapam on the anthill that was developed. That mandir was called Naga SAI MANDIR.
