Hemad Pant in Shri Sai Sathcaritra has written that wheel of time has not left even some of the Great Persons photographs.

Before SAI Mahasamadhi these planets could not come even to the shadow of His Dedicated devotees. Not eclipsed the fame of SAI BABA’s devotees even.

But after His Maha Samadhi for some time only,  Muktaram, SAI BABA’s devotee got an eclipse.Nagesh Atmaram Savant, another devotee of SAI BABA, has written about Muktaram thus.

‘Late Mukta Ram was staying in Shirdi in those days when Baba was living in person. Two days After Sai samadhi this household man has declared himself to the people of Shirdi that SAI BABA has ordered me to sit in the place where He was sitting in the Dwaraka Mai.

I am his apparent heir to the throne. He was not hearing anyone’s words, & went to the place where SAI BABA used to sit. After some time blood was oozing under his seat as he was pierced by sharp pins. At last after 7, 8 days in a terrifying position he prayed to SAI BABA for forgiveness & died’. Mukta Ram was SAI BABA’s dedicated devotee. He used to stay at Shirdi like a renouncing saint in SAI BABA’s presence.

In the afternoon he used to lit the Dhuni at his house built with tins. SAI BABA has sent him  to Harda, when he was about to install the SAI BABA’s photograph there,

Mukta Ram climbed high to hoist the flag, he was about to slip and die, then SAIBABA, while remaining in Shirdi saved him. That was the love SAI BABA had on Mukta Ram.

Like SAI BABA, who did not like anyone even beating the mad dog, Mukta Ram too had mercy on all beings. SAI BABA has supported this too.  The news that he tried to become as heir of SAI BABA, published by Sai Prabha magazine which was published from Poona is false.

One SAI BABA devotee sent information to that magazine that he has not done anything like that & all what they published was fictitious & he was having piles disease that was why he passed away, that magazine published this information and expressed its regret for past mistake.

If anyone want to occupy the SAI BABA’s place, will the villagers of Shirdi tolerate?

If that mistake was done by anybody, will they allow his SAMADHI to be built at the premises of Shirdi SAI BABA? He passed away in January, 1919.

The eclipse to the devotion of Mukta Ram passed by.
