It is considered as a great fortune to have Sai Baba’s darshan and if SAI BABA visited any devotees house their happiness is out of measure…! Be it in person or a portrait

SAI BABA made to write to Mr B V Dev that he will come to his house. Dev felt extremely happy. However Sai went to his house in disguise

Another time SAI BABA has given dream vision to Hemad Pant and said that He will come to Hemad Pant’s house.

As Hemad Pant knows very well the nature of SAI BABA’s words, he could understand that SAI NATH would not come in His true form, but could come in any other form.

As promised SAI BABA arrived to Hemad Pant’ house in the form of His Photograph. Even today Hemandpant’s decedents celebrate this day as a festival

Kaka saheb Dikshit stayed in Bombay. Further, both Balak Ram and Mukta Ram stayed in Shirdi. Sadashiv Doondhiraj was a SAI BABA’ s devotee, who stayed at Hardha.

kaka Saheb Dikshit has written a letter to Sadashiv Doondhiraj in Hardha that both Balak Ram and Mukta Ram will bring SAI BABA’s photograph to give them on 8th February 1915. That letter reached on 8th February.

That day was not only Monday, but Dasa Navami too. Sadashiv went to railway station that evening. He has seen both Balak Ram and Mukta Ram sitting in the train keeping SAI BABA’s photograph on them.

Immediately, he went to the compartment and bowed at the feet of SAI BABA’s photograph with full devotion and faith. The same phenomena would have happened even if SAI BABA would have come in person

After bowing to SAI BABA’s photograph, Sadashiv offered obeisance (Namaskaram) or greeted both Balak Ram and Mukta Ram.

When they brought the photograph of SAI BABA to the platform from the train, there was a commotion to see the Photograph of SAI BABA. Finally, that Photograph was brought to Sadashiv’s house in the horse cart (Tonga).

That day was Dasa Navami. Because of that, the atmosphere of festival prevailed not only in the house of Sadashiv, but in the entire village too.

 They put SAI BABA’s photograph on a Biggest Chair after spreading a Shawl on it. Abishekam (Bathing) was performed to the feet of SAI BABA.

Entire village echoed with SAI BABA’s worship (Puja), Aratis, Mantrapushpam (Recitation of Mantras) and Jay Jay kars(chants)

All availed the prasad (Offering) and felt happy. SAI BABA blessed one and all who participated in this gathering via the Photograph only

Moral

Worshipping Baba’s portrait or idol is equivalent to worshipping  Baba himself, never have the slightest doubt about that…!
