Father of Sairam was a devotee of SAI BABA. That was why he named his son as Sairam.

There are many chances that if a person in the family is a devotee of SAI BABA, their is a high possibility of other members of the family to follow. Sairam has informed about his personal details as below.

‘My father was a SAI BABA’s devotee. There were Worships and Celebrations in our house on every Thursday.

I was suffering with a big disease after one and half year of my birth, many thought that my death was imminent.

My father vowed to SAI BABA. “SAI BABA! You were saving my family till now. Please pass on this difficulty too. I would name my son as of yours” – Thus vowed Sairam’s father.

I regained full heath within a week. My father used to tell me about the greatness of SAI BABA’ – said Sairam.  

During the summer vacation in 1955 a memorable incident occurred. He went to his paternal uncle’s house in Nuziveedu during the Summer Vacation. They did not have the photograph of SAI BABA in their house. Sairam purchased a photograph of SAI BABA and used to worship SAI BABA in their house every Thursday.

During his stay there he was promoted from second form to third form. He used to say that it was the Greatness of SAI BABA. One day on receipt of a telegram he had been to see his father, his father was very tired and sick. He could not even perform SAI BABA’s worship properly. That’s why he called his son to perform the worship of SAI BABA.

One day his father told Sairam that ‘One night four Servants of Yama (Yama Kinkarulu) had come to take me. He asked them a week’s time, mainly because, his son was not here, he would call him and depart with satisfaction after seeing the worship of SAI BABA by his Son’.

‘I would leave now. The time I had taken was over now’ said his father to Sairam.

The next morning at the dawn he merged in SAI BABA. Since then, Sairam developed unlimited devotion for SAI BABA

SAI BABA will never do injustice to His Devotees.

For the devotion of father to SAI BABA, the same devotion towards Baba was inherited to his son Sairam

That was the Inheritance of SAI BABA!
