Shri S. B. Dhumal was a famous lawyer in Nashik and friend of Booti. He heard about SAI BABA. Those words about SAI BABA worked on him like a magnet.

He was having a close relationship with SAI BABA. He was having uncountable experiences. He was the person who understand the philosophy of SAI BABA completely.

‘How about your Shirdi SAI BABA? Is He a Hindu or Muslim?’ asked him a district magistrate once. ‘He was neither a  Hindu  nor a muslim. He was beyond the communities’ replied Dhumal.

By this Dhumal could be treated as the person who observed the truth after deeply analysing about SAI BABA, not on His Physical Form. He has not asked anything to SAI BABA. In fact, SAI BABA refused His desires many times.

The job of a Public Prosecutor:

Government invited to take the post of Public Prosecutor.  Saying that without the permission from SAI BABA he cannot do anything, he contacted SAI BABA.

SAI BABA said no to this. Dhumal has not taken that job and not agreed to take up the job.

House in the area where the Disease of Plagu was prevailing:

There was a spread of disease of Plagu in Nashik. It was confirmed that the house where Dhumal was staying also had the diseases spread

He has written to SAI BABA, whether to change the house. He was about to change the house as he thought SAI BABA may agree for a change of house,

‘Why should we change the house’ was a reply received from SAI BABA. By believing the words of SAI BABA, he was staying in the old house itself.

Travel to England:

Booti made all arrangements to send Dhumal to England to study Bar-at-law.

As SAI BABA’s gave disapproval for his journey , Dhumal didn’t go to England for further studies.

SAI BABA’s orders were followed in letter and spirit by a Great Devotee, Dhumal. He merged in SAI BABA on 29th June 1940

Let us also become the children of that FATHER.
