A sage recognises another sage. There was a village by name Chivatam! There was a sage called Acchamma in that village. There were many devotees to her like SAI BABA.

Vissayya Pantulu, an younger brother of her devotee has come and asked her that he would go to Vijayanagaram. Amma (Mother) told him not to go and asked him to read life story of Shri SAI BABA. He acted accordingly. If he travelled on that day, he would have met with an accident, she told and It happened so. A serious danger was averted. Many of such incidents happened there.

We could see many such incidents in Shri Sai Satcharitra. The speciality here was that she asked him to read Shri Sai Satcharitra regularly (Nitya Parayana).

Despite her orders SAI BABA’s devotee Shri Sudheendra Babu once gone to village. He lost all of his belongings in his journey. Her Miracles and actions resemble that of SAI BABA.

One lady devotee asked her that good people as well as bad people also visit her for her Darshan.

Chivatam Amma told her that she has opened a shop where good people and bad people whoever they were could come. Same had happened to SAI BABA. Prostitutes, thieves were also coming to SAI BABA. SAI BABA was blessing all of them equally. He used to be friendly with everyone who visited him.

She was also asking her devotees to read good books just like SAI BABA.

She has given her tooth to her devotee Suramma to keep with her just like SAI BABA.

SAI BABA used to advice His devotee Abhullah to eat little and sleep little.

Chivatam Amma used to tell her devotees that there were two thieves in a man. One was food and the other was sleep. In the day time one engaged with food, while night time with sleep, then when would you find God, she used to ask.

‘The devotees of Jesus Christ may not worship Shri Ram, but Jesus Christ and Shri Ram were  one and the same’ thus she taught that all the religion is one.

SAI BABA too used to mention about a Christian Police that ‘Though he is a Christian, he is my brother.

While giving answer to a question for a devotee Chivatam Amma said that once we go to SAI BABA, there was no need or requirement of any mantra

This Avadhoota (Chivatam Amma) never had the darshan of SAI BABA in person. She left her body on the midnight of June 8th, 1981.
