The Guru Geeta has discussed about numerous or various Mentors (Guru). The original name of Uddavesh Bua was Shyamadas. He was born on 9th June 1865.

He was showing interest on spirituality since his childhood. He was taking darshan and done seva of Many Saints and Sages.He has gone on pilgrimage by walk once. He has taken the darshan of Gajanan Maharaj at Shegoan.

‘Go here towards west. You will have a mentor, who will give you salvation’ said Gajanan Maharaj to Uddavesh. Uddevesh heard about Shirdi and SAI BABA living there. He reached Shirdi. SAI BABA was not in Dwaraka Mai masjid. He might have gone to the forests somewhere said a old woman present there. Uddavesh went to forest searching SAI BABA. There he found a person and asked him about SAI BABA. That person’s reply was very harsh.

Again Uddavesh got back to Dwaraka Mai Masjid. He told the old woman about the incident. She told him that the person who was harsh was none other than SAI BABA Himself. Uddavesh was astonished.

When the man enters the Dwaraka Mai. Uddavesh Bua prostrated before Him. ‘How should I get my mentor who gives me salvation’ Uddavesh asked that person.

‘Wait for five years for getting a salvation Guru, How can you swallow bread all at once? Waiting with patience is required for a person who does Sadhana,’ said SAI BABA.

Uddavesh waited for five years. ‘After five years I’m able to know that SAI BABA was my Mentor who grants me Salvation’ said Uddavesh.

SAI BABA has given many experiences to Uddavesh. ‘You were Uddava of then, Myself was Sri Krisha’ said SAI BABA to Uddavesh with experience.

SAI BABA asked him to present eleven coins to Him.

Uddavesh then told SAI BABA that ‘Baba! Here I give five elements of wisdom, five elements of action and my mind totaling eleven coins I present it to you’.

When the devotee has completely surrendered himself to his Guru, then only the Grace of Mentor would be available.

All the surrenders can be made to the Sai, the Sai becomes the guru of salvation for the practitioner.

The whole offering we can do to Sai, to the practitioner, Sai becomes the guru of salvation.
