The question as to what type of relation was there between SAI BABA and Kabir is not being answered till now.

There were many similarities between the two.

Parents were not known. Both have given importance to Guru. Both were bachelors. Both were opposing the collection of wealth.

There was controversy after they passed away. SAI BABA used to say that he was Kabir and used to spin the cotton in previous birth.

Dasaganu has told that SAI BABA was Kabir in his previous birth. He further said that his Guru was Gopalrao Deshmukh who was named as Ramandada in his last birth the Guru for Kabir

Kabir was my Guru said SAI BABA once. The Samadhi beneath the Neem Tree is considered being the Samadhi of Kabeer.

It was propagated that there were tombs of Kabir in Kashi, Maghar, Ratanpur near Ayodhya and further at Puri as well.

SAI BABA told the Judge from Dhulia Court that His Religion was Kabir’s Religion and According to this, it was thought that SAI BABA was great person belong to Kabir’s Path.

There was an opinion that the words of SAI BABA and Kabir were having internal meanings and could not be understood quickly there were intense. In Satcharita it is mentioned that when SAI BABA was in search of god His Guru hanged him upside down on a well and he enjoyed it thoroughly and was in bliss supreme

Kabir said ‘The well in the Sky was upside down. One beautiful girl pulling, the mystical water, from it. Those, who fulfils his thirst from that water would be very fortunate’.

Whatever said and done, the purpose of both of them was to unite the people who fought on Religion and Stupid Beliefs.

For that purpose both their lives have remained as symbols.

Jysehta Purnima was treated as Kabir’s birth day. (Generally it comes in the month of June)

About SAI BABA’s Birth Day, it was controversial.
