There is a special place for Kabir in SAI BABA’s literature. Sai devotees consider Kabir to be Sai Baba’s mentor and Sai Baba to be the incarnation of Kabir.

Once upon a time Sikander Lodi asked Kabir to come to him. He asked why he was so late in coming over to him.

‘As I was seeing a strange thing, that’s why delayed’ said Kabir. ‘What was that strange thing’ asked SikinderLodi.

‘There was a way very thin to needle, going through it the thousands of camels, elephants were going through it. That strange thing I was seeing.

Could you please explain to me the why this thing happened asked Sikander Lodi.

‘Is it not strange to see this earth was seen by this eye Maharaja! How many camels and elephants are going through it said Kabir. For Kabir’s wit Maharaja Sikander Lody was happy.

It is said that Kabir’s Master was Guru Ramananda. Both the Guru and his disciple words were takes place in Sikh’s religious book Guru Grantha Saheb.

Kabir’s literature was entering into the heart of people directly like Verses of Vemana and Tukaram’s Abhangams.

SAI BABA used to do Food Charity. Similar was the case with Kabir too.

‘Provide me four Shers of Wheat powder, and a vessel full of Oil, so that those remain in my house and those who come to my house could able to eat satisfactorily. Do not make me thieve by forgetting my request’

He used to request Lord Rama. Lord Rama was not lesser person. He made Kabir and His son Kamal made them as fellow thieves, and at last got them released by that God himself.

Once Kabir was in the Kashi Maharaj’s Court, Darbar was going on. Suddenly Kabir poured water from his Kamandalam to the floor.

What was the reason asked the king. ‘There was fire burning Cook at Puri Jagannath, His body was burning so that I poured this water so that it would be stopped’ said Kabir.

Getting the doubt Kashi Maharaj has sent his men to Puri. What Kabir said was true it was revealed.

Government of India has released a Memorial Postal Stamp on October 1st, 1952.

Today is October 1st. Let us remember him in his words only.

‘If anybody says Ram Ram in a dream itself, I would give my body to him to prepare the Sandals”.
