Bhaskara Setupati was one of the persons, who made arrangements for Swamy Vivekananda to go to Chicago to take part in the Meeting.

He was King Ramanatha. His complete name is Hiranyagarbhayaaji Ravikula Muttu Vijaya Raghunatha Bhaskara. Learned in Education, & Cultured were personified in his embodiment. 

After informing about the importance of ancient virtues to the world in Chicago meet, Vivekananda has got alighted at Pamban on one Tuesday Evening.

Bhaskara Setupati has come in a boat that was beautifully arranged to take Vivekananda to Ramanathapuram.

The meeting of the both was unique. The King, & the others who accompanied the king have prostrated to Swamijee.

He made to sit Swamijee in a thrown, & after putting his head on the Footwear of Swamijee & bowed his head & said ‘I would be very happy if a jewel which was not valued on my head than this’ he said.

After the great welcome to take Swami Vivekananda to the lodging, King Setupati has arranged a cart with six horses.

He has gone some distance with his group with Swamiji. Setupati then asked the people to open the Horses tied to the cart.

Bhaskar Setupati has started to pull the cart himself. Vivekananda asked him to stop the pulling of cart.

As the saying goes ‘Yatha Raja, Tatha Praja’. The group of people also pulled the cart with the King Bhaskar Setupati to make that cart to reach the lodging happily.
