Stop, Look and Go! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 3nd March.

SAI BABA used to say that ‘Do not try to confirm what you have seen’.

Pandita Haribhattu (Harubhadra) was a great Scholar and Priest of the Kingdom. For him all the Vedas, Upanishats and Mythological Stories were like grinded powder.

He used to say those who could make him understand the verses, he would become their slave. He was hatred to Jain Religion.

A lady was going while chanting a verse once. That verse could not be understood by Haribhattu.

Even next day, the same thing happened. He could not understood its meaning even though after trying also.

He asked her the meaning at last, for which she replied that ‘I do not know its meaning, but my Acharya would tell you’. Saying this she has taken Haribhattu to her Acharya.

Acharya explained him the meaning of the verse. The verse itself was appears to be new to Haribhattu. Name of the Acharya was Jina Dutta Soori.

That ladies name was Sadhvi Yakinee Mahattara. They are Jains. Haribhattu has taken the Jain Religion.

Both the nephews of Haribhattu were killed due to Bouddhas. Haribhattu therefore wanted to take revenge.

He was a sorcerer too. He arranged a big pan that was firing and poured oil in it to boil it rigorously, then each one of the Boudhist to come from sky and die after falling down in the boiled oil.

With the power of Mantras he readied to take the revenge for the death of his nephews.

Ashram’s doors’ were closed. Then he started chanting the Mantras. Then somebody knocking the doors of the Ashram.

He has not heeded. Again it was knocked, then also he has not heeded.

‘I am Sadhvee Mahattara. I wanted to know about the revenge, open the doors’ were the words he heard.

Hari Bhatttu has a severe respect for Sadhvee Mahattara. Immediately he opened the door. ‘One frog was died crushing under my feet. Would there be a atonement for it?’ she asked Haribhattu. ‘Yes there would be’ said Haribhattu.

‘Ok then, you was saying that there would be atonement for a frog which was killed on crushing under my feet.

But you are about to kill 1444 men, after taking the decision. Don’t you get the atonement?’ asked Sadhvee Mahattara.

The words of Mata Mahattara has made Haribhattu to think. Out of momentary agitation of mind, I used to kill 1444 men.

If it was delayed by a minute, I used to procure so much of sin’ saying this he told that ‘Mata Mahattara has saved me from this sin’ and asked her excuse.

As a atonement has written 1444 Jain Religious Books. In each and every writing of his, he has written that he was the son of Sadhvee Yakinee Mahattara.
