Those who chant my name repetedly, I will protect them always...Sai Baba

Voice support and English Translation Edited by  : Sai Sujatha

May 1st is observed as Labour’s Day by people of India. SAI BABA used to work physically, though He was Inner-self of All – That too He worked as Child Labor

Once when I was a youngster, I tied a kerchief to my waist started in search of a job for my livelihood. After a long walk I reached a place called Beedgaon and rested there for a while. I felt happy at the strange will of my Fakir. I got a work of weaving a silver or gold ornamental border (also called Zaree) to a saree or dhoti. (It’s also called as embroidery work).

I used to work hard without taking any rest there. My labour got a reward’ thus said SAI BABA. Any one should do the labour. If one keeps the Mind in his labour there seems to be much/more benefit.

‘Those who came earlier to me have got the good reputation of intelligent work”

My employer was very much pleased with me. Three other boys worked before me The first got R50, the second Rs100 and the third Rs150, and I was given twice the whole amount (viz Rs600). After seeing my cleverness, the employer loved me, praised me and honored me with a full dress, a turban for the head and a shall for the body etc. (a mention of this is made in SS CH 32)

This was the story of Bidgaon as a labour

SAI BABA used to bring Marigold, Ficus Tisela (A kind of Fig Tree producing flowers) and planted them at waste land there and was instrumental in growing a beautiful garden there. SAI BABA was indeed a Gardener, and a Labourer.

SAI BABA was a labourer who built a wall at Dwaraka Mayee. He dug a well with the fellow villagers.

He not only paid Rs. 2/ to a person who brought a ladder, but blessed him with children too. SAI BABA had given the reward more than the labour.

SAI BABA told His devotees that instead of pricing the labour, pay them with generosity.

Today is Labour Day, May 1st. Let us do the Labour like a Labourer.

True Labour always wins…
