Those who chant my name repetedly, I will protect them always...Sai Baba

When Sai Baba came to Shirdi for the first time he wanted to visit Khandoba Mandir however the priest/panditji who was Mahalsapathi didn’t allow Baba to enter the temple (since he had a Mohammadien attire).
Baba politely replied, “I will have the darshan from a distance, hope none will have any objection”. Baba also started narrated a story saying there was a legend in Maharashtra by name Chokhamela who belonged to Harijan Community and was very dear to Panduranga Vittala. He was hundred times better than the Pandit’s who perform the pooja in the proximity of the lord. Except those who tried to enter the temple all the remaining were Harujans and their souls were pure.
In Maharashtra, there won’t be any individual who would not know Chokhamela. He was prevented from entering the temple of Panduranga despite of several attempts. But Chokhamela was mesmerized by the sight of Panduranga throughout.
Once while a wall was being constructed, the wall collapsed, Chokhamela and few others lost their lives (i.e they died) .It was challenging to remove/segregate the dead bodies, hence mass cremation was performed.
‘My devotee Chokhamela had one wish during his entire life that his Samadhi should be in front of My Mandir. It is My Wish that his desire is to be fulfilled’ thus said Lord Panduranga to Namadeva. When Namadeva asked how to recognise his bones, Lord replied Chokhamela’s bones chant My Name always said Lord Panduranga.
Namadeva went to the grave and listened every bone with his ear and those bones which chanted the name of Panduranga were recognised and built the Samadhi of Chokhamela in front of Lord Panduranga’s Mandir. The bone of Chokhamela chants the name of Lord Panduranga all the time.
Chokhamela left his body on Vyshakha Bahula Panchami (May Month). SAI BABA also left His Body and a Maha Samadhi was built.
Bombay resident Smt Rustomjee put her head at the Samadhi of SAI BABA and cried that when You were alive I was saved from all the calamities. Now who would look after me’ she asked SAI BABA.
She heard ‘Rurtom Beta Kab aaya’ (Rustom Beta, when did you come?) three times from the Samadhi. SAI BABA used to say ‘Even My Bones would speak with My devotees’.
