Stone Hearted! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 26th June.

Yunas Emri was born in 1240. He was praised in Turkey as Yogi, People’s Writer and Mystic. Government of Turkey has release a postal stamp in memory of him on 26th June 1991.

Yunus Emri during his life time went to famous Sufi Yogi with some forest fruits.

That Sufi Yogi asked him ‘What do you want, Blessings or Seeds?’. “Seeds” said Yunus Emri as he thought they could be farmed in his farm house, he would get trees, hence he asked only seeds.

That Yogi again asked him, he told again to give him seeds only.

On the way Yunas Emri thought that he has done a mistake, instead of Seeds he would have asked Sufi Yogi’s blessings. He prayed again the Sufi Yogi for Blessings.

‘It was locked. The keys were with Tapduk Emri’ the Sufi Yogi told. Yunas Emri understood the Mystic words of Sufi Yogi.

Immediately he searched for Tapduk Emri. He got the Guru. SAI BABA also searched for Guru!

He was indulged in the service of Guru. Not one year, two years or not 12 years, he has brought wood from the forest continuously for forty years.

Those logs are not curled or bended, were straight. Further he used two snakes instead of thread to bundle the wood.

After 40 years of service, Yunus Emri wanted to leave the Guru’s Ashram, and left.

In SAI BABA’s literature too Upasani Baba left SAI BABA without telling Him.

Yunus Emri reached the Guru again. Guru’s wife told him that Guru will come for prayer, wait for some time.

Yunus was waiting outside in the darkness. Because of old age, the Guru steps on the Yunus.

‘I am Yunus Emri’ he told. ‘Are you our Yunus Emri? Saying this Guru embraced his disciple. Then Yunus Emri remained with his Guru’

In a meeting Guru asked someone to sing, but they didn’t. Then Guru asked his disciple Yunus Emri to sing.

Extempore poetry has come from him. He felt that His Guru has opened the keys. Once he started with his Guru’s blessings.

He has started Mystic Poetry to be understood by one and all.

He wanted to build his own Samadhi and started the work. To see what he was doing His Guru started visiting Yunus Emri.

There was a river mid way. Guru was crossing the river snake as his vehicle.

Yunus Emri has seen his Guru has coming to him, he went to his Guru by sitting on a wall.

The Guru praised him saying “You are greatest than me”. Emri then touched the feet of his Guru. That is Disciple’s humbleness.

Today is June 26. Let us remember one sentence Yunus Emri has written.

“Love is just like a sun,the mind without the love, is equal to the stone”.
