Image and Reflection! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 11th July.

The devotees of SAI BABA used to name their children after SAI NATH.

The name of the third child born to Venkata Raju and Lakshmamma was Venkata Raju. Raju in the later days became Pullayya Swamy.

Venkata Raju learnt Bharata, Bhagavatha and Ramayana from his father. He worked as a teacher too.

Venkata Raju had the darshan of Pendlimarri Pullayya garu once. By that time Pendlimarri Pullayya was Yogi.

Venkata Raju used to do discipleship at Pendlimarri Pullayya Garu. He forgot about his job.

Pullayya Garu sent Venkata Raju to sleep at the Samadhi of his Guru at Cherlopalli. He was doing meditation at the Samadhi of his Guru’s Guru. He lost external sense.

After gaining consciousness he became an Avadhoota.

Then he had the darshan of his Guru Pullayya Garu. Pullayya was very happy on seeing that Avadhoota naked. Venkata Raju changed his name as Pullayya.

The three disciples of Janardhan has mixed their names with Janardhan. They became Ram Janardhan, Jaani Janardhan and John Janardhan. Guru became the Image and his disciple was its reflection.

Avadhoota Pullayya has shown many miracles. He has given many discourses.

Some farmers from Potladurti village have visited him once. The farmers were suffering because of no rains.

Avadhoota Pullayya told them to arrange Garmostav (festivity), make him sit on Raccha Banda ( palce where villagers meet to take important decisions)sit  and make him bath and that water should flow into nearby canal.

Accordingly the villagers made a procession of him in a Ricksha.

Immediately only in that village there was storm. This type of Blessings was showered by Golagamudi Venkayya Swamy too.

A woman is being taken to Maiduguar Hospital by her relatives, to her, the surgery there, with the intent to do

Swamy stopped her on the way, ‘We have knives, we too can operation’ told Swamy.

Swamy gave her a glass of water putting snuff powder that he was using to drink. In ten minutes her pain got vanished.

There was no need of doing any operation to her. Similar incident could be seen in the life of Jillella Mudi Amma.

One devotee wanted to bring tiffin to Pullayya Swamy and woke up.

Swamy stopped him. Within a few minutes idlis, vadas and puris have come.

They were not only sufficient to Swamy, but to all present there.

Swamy left his body on July 11th, 1983.

Today is July 11th. Swamy’s  death Anniversary.

Let us remember him.
