One could understand the eminence of a person by the way he prays to a saint or deals/honors the great personalities.
It is not an exaggeration to say that Nagesh Vasudeva Gunaji is an unknown Sai devotee. On hearing about Ramana Maharshi Shri Gunaji visited him.
Jneneswar has prayed for a boon on completion of Commentary on Geeta, similarly Gunaji has asked for a boon from Ramana Maharshi.
‘Oh Bhagavan! If you want to grace us kindly show us your mercy like this. Our ego should be vanished. Our focus should be on our soul. We have to get the natural happiness beyond the senses. Our mind should be mixed with soul just like salt mixed in the water’. On hearing this Ramana Maharshi felt happy. ‘Take and take, whatever you want take, Go inside’ on stretching out his legs Shri Ramana Maharshi said.
Gunajee has distributed the happiness then to the devotees of SAI BABA who read Shri SAI SATCHARITRA. 
He has translated the SAI SATCHARITA into English in brief. There were many who did parayana of this great book. Devotees of SAI BABA would feel happy on reading this Satcharitra. This SAI SATCHARITRA has become the standard one.
Many translated in to their mother tongues in various countries. Gunajee has brought beauty to Shri Sai Satcharitra.
That translation was just like fragrance to gold. There were two instances.
In the first chapter Kabir and Nipati Niranjan’s instance was included in SAI BABA’s wheat grinding incident.
The place where SAI BABA lived Dwaraka Mayee was the Dwaraka itself as per Gunajee, who quoted a verse from Skanda Purana at 4th Chapter of Shri Sai Satcharitra. Gunajee has shown SAI BABA’s Dwaraka Mai as Dwarika as legendary.
It was learnt that Gujajee was born in 1873 July, left his body in 1963.
Today is one of the days in July. Let us read at least a part of Shri Sai Satcharita or in full. Let us remember him.
