SAIBABA used to suggest that every work should be done with Faith and Devotion.
Small silver Padukas (Footwear) were made by Shyamrao Jayakar. He has submitted them to SAIBABA at Shirdi.
SAIBABA has seen those Padukas. He has taken them in to His hands. After taking them SAIBABA, without giving them back to Shyamrao, dropped them down.
Shyamrao wanted to worship those Padukas. So, he took them into his shirt’s pocket and went home.
On reaching home, on the same evening, Shyamrao while giving used cloths to a washer man, by oversight he gave away the shirt containing the Padukas too.
They were not returned to him by the washer man.
He blamed himself for his carelessness. He could then understand the reason why SAIBABA has not given him the Padukas, but left them on the floor.
One should have the desire; thereby they should have dedication also. Where there will not be dedication, there will not be no devotion.
While going to the Darshan of SAIBABA, Atmaram Hari Chowbal showed the Padukas that were specially made by him to SAIBABA. SAIBABA has put His Feet’s Big Toe on the Padukas and said to “Chowhal to worship them.” Haribhav has acted accordingly.
That day was Aswayuja Bahula Trayodashi, which means 20th October 1930 in english calendar. Hari Bhav wanted to worship the Padukas normally.
One Paduka was found to be missing and could not be traced out ,. Finally he was worshipping only one Paduka.
After some days, the second Paduka was also disappeared. Hari Bhav was worried more. He thought SAIBABA was not happy with him, so it happened.
He had gone to market to buy new Padukas, but could not find any padukas after searching many shops.
He felt he did not have the luck to worship the Padukas, and he decided to worship SAIBABA’s photograph only.
But he was having dissatisfaction for not able to worship the Padukas.
Suddenly one day, both the Padukas, were present. His joy has no bounds. He has done the SAIBABA’s Paduka Puja happily.
SAIBABA was not anywhere. He was in our Hearts only to fulfill all our good wishes. Any work with Faith and dedication would be succeeded.
