The birth place of SAIBABA was not known, but Shirdi has become His place of Action (Karma Bhoomi).

Kaka Saheb Dixit used to say that SAIBABA might have relation with the place of Mughal. Why because in SAIBABA’s words names of Selu, Jaalna, Manpad, Pathri, Parbhani, Araungabad, Beed, Beedar etc used to come.

Not only this, Hemad Pant informed that SAIBABA has come to Shirdi from Dhupkheda Village with a Gentleman Called Chandbhai during a marriage occasion. Before coming to Dhupkheda village, the first ever miracle displayed by SAIBABA was to trace out the lost horse of Chand Patil. For Puffing of Chillum SAIBABA has created fire and water from the earth. That was another Miracle.

These two miracles belong to Chand Patil. On observing SAIBABA’s miraculous powers, Chand Patil has invited Baba to Dhupkheda Village. Both started to Dhupkheda. There were many miracles which occurred during the journey. Only one or two has come to light.

While going to Dhupkheda Village, some people had objected them. Sai Baba has thrown stones on them.

One stone went and hit a lame boy. The mother of the boy, who was present there, lifted up the boy to her astonishment. The boy was able to walk.

Another girl was roaming madly in the village without wearing any dress. Another stone hit her and her madness went away. She went home and came back by dressing herself completely

Then people recognised the power of Fakir SAIBABA. SAIBABA stayed some time in Dhoopkheda. SAIBABA used to stay under the shadow of one neem tree there day and night without caring cold and heat.

The villagers requested Gulab Baba to build a SAIBABA mandir near those two trees.

On 16th November 1991 the foundation of SAIBABA mandir was concreted by Gulab Baba.

Today is November 16th.
