Shivaram Patil used to follow the words of SAIBABA in Practice.

One Namaskar with devotion was enough; there was no use to do Namaskarams several times as practice if you keep your mind somewhere.

That’s why Yogi Vemana has told that ‘It was enough to have food than devotion’. (Bhakti Kalugu Koodu Pattedainanu Chaalu).

Ananta Rao Patil never gave money anytime unnecessarily. Villagers used to call him a miser. He does not know to read or write. He only knew farming. With the Sister Gopabai’s influence he was attracted towards Panduranga.Tukaram’s abhangams 20, 25 he knows well. Whenever time was available he used to sing the abangams.

SAIBABA used to say do not waste a minute. SAIBABA used to spend His life like that only. But SAIBABA never forgot Devotion.

Once in the morning Anantrao Patil has come home after shaving his bear. Hot water was prepared for him by his people.

Instead of wasting time, he started singing the Tukaram’s Abangams while leaning against the wall there. While singing the abhagams there, Anantaram Patil has reached his end.

That day was Margashirsha Shuddha Dashami, Sunday.

To leave the body without any difficulty, it was possible for Mahalsapati only, Possible only for Kaka Saheb Deekshit, and for Anantaram Patil.

Those who have given every moment of their life would get the death very easily. Not only that they would utter the God’s name while passing away to reach God.
