SAI BABA SAVES A WOMAN FROM SUCIDE AND MAKES A DRUNKARD LEAVE HIS DRINKING HABIT

NARASIMHA RAO, of Hyderabad shares his beautiful experience of  UDI and Sai

During His life time Shree Sai Baba was mostly In the Dwaikamai and Chawdi. These places are very holy and important. The ‘Dhuni’ in the Dwarakamai yields the sacred’Udi’.

This Dhuni has been kept burning during the life time of Shree Sai Baba at Shirdi by Himself and the during the last 64 (Sixty four) years after His Mahasamadhi. it has been kept ever burning as per the wish of Shree Sai Baba.

In the ‘Sai Sat Charita’ several examples on wonderful ewe by the use of ‘Udi’ have been cited and even after His Mahasamadhi ‘he ‘Udi’ from Dhuni at Shirdi is yielding very wonderful results.

The power bestowed on the ‘Udi’ by Shree Sai Baba is continuing still and will ever continue because of His ornni presence. Some of my very recent unique experiences of Udi’ are as follows which look like Shree Sai Leelas or miracles.

On 1st December, 1982 my house-hold servant maid Smt Laxshmi Bai aged 50 (fifty) with her children and her deserted aged mother aged 70 (Seventy) came crying to my house narrating that her teen aged daughter aged 20 (Twenty) called Miss.’ayah’ Kondalu ‘ayah’ in Abhudaya convent School located near my house only left a letter and left their house informing them that they need not search for her and that she would be falling in the big ‘Hussain Sagar’ Lake in Hyderabad City for committing suicide, for reasons best known to them only. I had just then completed my early morning prayers and meditation on Shree Sai Baba.

Under these circumstances I had consoled them and offered them ‘Udi’ of Sri Sai Baba and told them not to worry about their beloved daughter Miss. Kondalu and predicted she would return by the Divine grace of Shree Sai Baba.

They too by then lodged a police complaint. As said miraculously she was rescued by the Police and was traced out at Yadagirigutta, i.e. a holy hillock Pilgrim center where the presiding deity is Sri Yadagiri Narasimha Swamy 80 KM to Hyderabad City.

They all felt very happy and became highly devoted to Shree Sai Baba since then. I have advised them to daily pray Shree Sai Baba the benefactor.

During the last month of November ’82 Sri Kondaraju Subba Rao, an Additional Electrical Engineer, Cumbham, in A. P. State aged 57 visited my house with his devoted wife and his graduate son.

He was the first person who told me about Shree Sai Baba in 1941 while I was a boy 13 studying in V. R. High School at Nellore. Now I am aged 54.

Since a few years he took to drinks heavily and became badly addicted to them and made his life miserable and also-of his family  members.

He has completely forgotten about Shree Sai Baba too, though there is a small temple of Shree Sai Baba  in  Cumbham he is now working, he is not aware of it and  never  visited too.

During  his stay in house for about 3 (three) days he created a hell for us.    My aged father  who is 80 (eighty) years old got very much annoyed about his drunken behavior and  could  not contain and, abused him and advised him to stop this evil habit of drink  even  from now and turn a new leaf in his Iife.

He was so fully drunken one day he did not know  he  passed urine  In his-bed while in sleep.    I told him about Sri Sai Baba  and  gave  him  ‘Udi’  with a  photo of;, Shree Sai Bath. After morning bath appealed (to him to kindly give up the so called   -Elixir of life’ He was ashamed of what he did during his  stay  with  us  at  Hyderabad and pledged. before Sri Sai Baba photo in my house that he would give up this drink evil.

On the return to Cumbham he has written to me promptly that he  has  absolutely given up the habit of drinking  and  is  now  having  a  new life with  Sri Sai Baba’s  blessings  and through the mahima  (i.e.  miracle)   of   Udi’of Sri Sai Baba and by offering  prayers daily  to the photo given by me.

Sri M   Ramdkrishnaiah, Retired Treasury Officer,   who   is   my  father   who   is   no aged 80 (Eighty) has been a Sai Devotee since his childhood.

He has been visiting  Sri Sai Baba temple at Nellore in A.P. State regularly   and daily   since   25 (twenty five) years after his  retirement  from  Government service.

He Is now with me,  after my beloved mother’s demise last year. He is spending most of  his  time  in  his prayers to Shree Sai Baba and! ^:wearing ‘Udi’ every day reading Shree Sai Sat Charita etc.

He is doing Namajap and meditation on Lord Sainath daily.    Never he had any dream  In  his life so far but in the’ early hours of Friday i.e. on (3-12-’82) Shree Sai Baba appeared to him as Sri Shiva on the banks of river Godavari near Shirdi,

It seems in his dream he offered 2 (two) Betel Leaves, two betel nuts and two Banana fruits to Shree Sai Baba from out of  his small handbag carry­ing with him.

He appeared to him and said that he  is a blessed soul.    The significance of 2 (two) banana  fruits, to  betel nuts  and  two  betel  leaves  to my  knowledge are highly symbolic since I feel that my father having fulfilled the twin “Commands”of Shree Sai Baba i e. Sharddha and Saburi (Faith with Devotion and patience with courage in his life)

He was blessed Shree Sri Baba in (be dream he had on 3-12-82 when he told us about it all my family members felt immensely happy that Shree Sai Baba is ever with  us and guiding us and His ‘Divine Grace’ will ever be on us to perform good acts in our lives.

I am now aged 54 and has been His devotee since a boy of 13 under the influence of my beloved father as well as my cousin brother K. Subba Rao who have told me about Shree Sai Baba.

My knowledge of Shri Sai Baba is through his portraits, paintings. Idols in various Temples  used to visit at Nellore, Kurnool, Guntur, Pune. Baroda etc., I have visited Shirdi twice i.e. 12-8-82 and 30 9-82 and I look forward to visit ‘Shirdi’ at least once in a year from now on wards.

By the Divine Grace of Shree Sai Baba, I am again promised by Him to visit Shirdi on 18-12-82 and go same visiting on 18-12-82 and worshiping Lord Sainath. ‘Sai Bhakti’ ever flowing through my veins since my childhood through the sincere and ardent devotion of my father had towards Shree Sai Baba. May my Co-Sai-Devotees be blessed by the infallible panacea of Sri Baba’s ‘Udi’.
