Dwarakamayee solved the problems of Telecasting Odia Serial Shirdi Sai–Audio

During 2003, the pilot episodes of Odia Television Serial Shirdi Sai was submitted to Doordarshan Kendra, Bhubaneswar for preview and official permission for telecasting.

But we could not get any information about the preview and permission for telecasting till the end of 2004. I was a little bit worried for the delay in getting the permission but as

I have complete faith on Sai Baba I straight went to Shirdi to pray Baba and seek his guidance.

On arrival at Shirdi on the first day morning I performed the Abhisek puja of Sai Baba at Samadhi Mandir and made few parikramas around the Samadhi Mandir and the Dwarakamayee.

Next day I performed the Sai Satyanarayan Puja at Samadhi Mandir .

Just after the puja I  discussed about the Shirdi Sai Serial and the associated problems faced for telecasting with the priest (who guided the Satyanarayan Puja). 

He simply laughed and said, “Baba’s Leelas are mysterious.

He tests His devotees for Sraddha and Saburi.

If you pass, He does everything. You have nothing to worry. Anyway as you are planning a commendable service for Baba, do one thing.

Purchase 250 grams of ghee and one coconut and give it to the priest at Dwarakamayee for offering in the Dhuni.

After that you bring all your scripts and video film on Sai Baba and meet me at the Samadhi Mandir.”

Without any delay I purchased one coconut and 250 gms of ghee and gave it to the priest present at the Dwarakamayee with the request to offer it in the Dhuni.

He smiled and asked,

“ How do you know that devotees also offer coconut and ghee for the Dhuni ? ”

When I explained the purpose and reference he said, “ Already

I have received the required number of coconuts for offering but only waiting for the last coconut. You are fortunate and I am receiving your coconut for offering it in the Dhuni.”

I thanked him and then proceed to Bhakta Niwas .

I collected the scripts and Video film on Sai Baba (which we have prepared for telecasting) from Bhakta Niwas and gave to the priest at Samadhi Mandir.

The priest touched the scripts and Video film Sai Baba  on the Samadhi of Sai Baba, wrapped all those in a piece of yellow cloth and returned  back to me.

I was very happy at the turn of such events and on the next day I returned back to Bhubaneswar.

Within few days from my return from Shirdi I got a call from Director,  Doordarshan Kendra, Bhubaneswar to submit the required documents and to sign the agreement  for the telecasting of the Odia serial Shirdi Sai through Doordarshan on every Monday at 7.30 P.M.

Without any delay we submitted all the needed documents and signed the agreement.

The serial Shirdi Sai was telecasted successfully for 104 episodes with necessary approval and good viewership rating.

In the context of this particular Sai Leela I am quoting the words of Baba,

“ When any one enters this Dwarakamayee with sraddha and saburi his goal (objective) is achieved.”

Let us bow down at the sacred feet of Baba and chant

 “Shree Sachidananda Sadguru Sainath Maharaj Ki Jai.”
