Meher Baba had five Sadgurus. They were Baba Jaan, SAI BABA, Upasani Baba, Tajuddin Baba & Narayan Maharaj.

While speaking about Upasani Baba, Meher Baba used to say ‘Upasani Maharaj was a  great person that if one gets his Grace, the dust particles too would become God.’Upasani Maharaj has attained Maha Samadhi at Sakori.

When he was alive, a Marble Idol of Upasani Maharaj was consecrated through the hands of Mother Godavari at Pinjara on January 13th, 1942.

Even his holy footwear were also consecrated. Like SAI BABA, Upasani Maharaj too has shown many miracles after his Maha Samadhi.

Upasani Maharaj left the body matter, His stomach was damaged. Doctor advised him for operation. Even devotees also wanted him to be operated, He could not refuse their words. He had no illusion on his body.At last A Parsi Doctor of Wardah decided for operation. Upasani told them that he should not be used chloroform or any other Anastasia medicines.

That surgeon has cut the piles of Upasini Maharaj & he was sewed the wounds while burning with reddish iron rods. That was tolerated by Upasani Maharaj.

He never said a word. Another strange thing was that he encouraged the surgeon by saying ‘Do it. Doctor, Don’t worry’. Everybody was astonished at the tolerance of Upasini Baba.

SAI BABA has attained Maha Samadhi. Those, who do not know the philosophy of SAI BABA, were not there,

In 1927, Tarabai has come to Shirdi with her family. She was pregnant then.

After reaching Shirdi, the child in her stomach was dead.

Her husband Sadashiv Tarkad has gone to Sakori & prayed Upasani Maharaj.

Then Upasani Maharaj sent Sadashiv Tarkad back to Shirdi saying that ‘There were the best Doctor & Nurse in Shirdi. Why do you come over here’ asked Upasani Maharaj.

SAI BABA has attained Maha Samadhi was only a thinking. SAI BABA has given instructions to Tarabai. She followed that accordingly. She got her health back.

Let us remember the Upasani Maharaj who was the creation of SAI BABA who was beyond the time.
