Kulkarni of the village of Rahuri told Upsani to go to Shirdi and take darshan of Baba.

Accordingly Upasani went to Shirdi on June 27th 1911 and had the darshan of SAI BABA.

That day was Tuesday and Upasani spent two days with SAI BABA. He asked permission from SAI BABA to go home. SAI BABA asked Upasani ‘Going now itself? When do you plan to come again? If you want to go now come back after a week’ – SAI BABA said Upasani.

” It is not possible to return, ” Upasani said.  ‘Ok. Go now. I would do whatever possible from myside ’ said SAI BABA to Upasani. Upasani has taken it as permission and started home at 3 in the afternoon of Thursday, the 29th June, 1911.

Upasani was stopping at the villages for taking rest while going home. Seven days had passed.

That was eighth day. When he enquired, it was found that he has come only eight miles from Shirdi , Upasani was greatly surprised by this. In these eight days did he walk only 8 miles Upasani himself felt? Upasani met Brahmachari Bua at Kopergoan. He advised Upasani to go to Shirdi to have the darshan of SAI BABA.

It was not liked by Upasani, however he went to Shirdi with a group of pilgrims who were going to Shirdi. That day was July 6th, 1911, Thursday.

SAI BABA asked Upasani Did you come? When did you go? Upasani replied that he had left last Thursday at 3 in the afternoon.

SAI BABA: How many days passed since you left?

Upasani: A week, seven days. It is eight day for today.

SAI BABA: You said that you would not be able to come within 8 days.

Upasani: I did not know. How this happened? All this was done by you.

SAI BABA: See! I was with you only during these eight days. Go and Stay at Vada now.

Upasani understood the marvelous powers of SAI BABA.

He surrendered to that Father, That day was 6th July 1911.

Let us also surrender to SAI BABA!
