Those who chant my name repetedly, I will protect them always...Sai Baba

What book should I read?’ asked Kaka Saheb Deekshit to SAI BABA.

SAI BABA replied by Him to read ‘Eknath’s Brundavan’. Kaka Deekshit enquired many about the name of the book. Everyone said they have not heard that name. At last he could know that it was Eknath’s Bhagavath.

One trader of Sravasti has come to Lord Buddha. Immediately on his arrival Lord Buddha called him as ‘Sudaatta’.

It was the name of Anadha Pindak’s child hood Nick name. That name was not known to anybody.  There was no opportunity to know too.

He came to know Lord Buddha was a great man . Anadha Pindak was doing Regular Anna Danam to Saints, Good People, Sanyasis, and to orphans.

Even the Emperors feel jealous on seeing the wealth of Anadha Pindak.

Anadha Pindak has got the devotion & love on Lord Budhdha.

He requested Lord Budhdha to spend that year’s Chaturmaasam (Four Months of rainy season) in Sravasti.

Lord Budddha agreed for it. Anadha Pindak has built Jeta Vanam after spending so much money for the purpose.

Anadha Pindaka has built several rest houses on the way from the Palace where Lord Buddha with his disciples resided to Sravasti about 130 Miles.

He purchased the place from Jetu named Prince. That’s why that place has become Jeta Vanam. He built a beautiful vihar with Lodging & Boarding facilities.

Lord Buddha has spent many Chaturmasas there. Kala Natha was the son of Anadha Pindaka.

Kala Natha was a leader for wicked children. He was having friendship with the prince.

He used to take one hundred  Gold Coins daily from his father to enjoy.

One day his father told him that, If you go & come to Lord Budhdha’s vihar I would give you one hundred gold coins.

As a symbol of his going to Lord Budhdha’s vihar, if he explains the meaning of Lord Budhdha’s sayings, he would not only give him one hundred gold coins, but would give him one thousand  gold coins.

One day after listening carefully to Lord Budhdha’s preaching, he would stay there entire night while recalling it over & over again.

Next day Kala Nath was coming with the Budhdhist Monks. That day they went to the house of Anadha Pindaka.

Anadha Pindaka was happy to see his son in the group & about to give one thousand  gold coins.

‘My dear father! I do not require anything. I do not want your treasure. You have done such a good to me not that any father can do it to his son.

That was itself ten thousands gold coin worth’.  Said Kala Nath to his father with gratitude. The father was very happy.

Date & other particulars of this incident were not available.

They both offered Namaskar to Lord Buddha who was instrument for happiness.
