Story of Brothers! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 13th February.

SAI BABA used to call all those visitors as Brother & Sister. How many brothers & sisters were there for Him could not be counted.

In Jain Religion, the first Saint of that Religion was Adinatha. He has distributed his kingdom to his sons he went for Penance. His elder son was Bharat & younger son was Bahubali.

Bharat was having the desire for Kingdom more. He was winning the other kings one by one.

All his brothers were of the thinking that they may invade them, they have given the kingdom to Bharat & went for Penance.

Only Bahubali has not given the kingdom to Bharat. Bahubali has not enslaved like the remaining 98 brothers.

As per Kshatriya Dharma he was readied to fight Bharat in the Battle. Due to Battle there was loss & as such they wanted to settle it through face to face.

In the fist fight, Bahubali lifted up Bharat, He could win in the next moment.

But his hands that lifted Bharat were remained like that only. His mind thought several ways.

All the brothers have given Bharat the Kingdom, he himself wanted to kill him, Bahubali thought.

His mind & intellect could not agree for killing Bharat. Love for his brother has burst forth in him. Bahubali, slowly, down Bharat on the floor.

He told Bharat,  that,  he would be giving kingdom to Bharat. Saying this he left for forest for penance.

On starting the Penance, the mind of Bahubali was not in his mind.

The land where penance that he was doing, was in fact belongs to Bharat, his elder brother.

He got a doubt that in others land how could he perform penance.

This was observed by Adinath, their father, already who was on Penance, called Bharat to meet him.

On knowing this Bharat has got happy & allotted land to Bahubali to do penance. Then Bahubali started the Penance happily.

On offering Namaskarams to his father & other elders Bahubali started the Penance. His Penance has not given any fruits to him despite so much time.

His father has able to know the reason. He has not offered Namaskarams any of his 98 brothers, thinking that he was elder to them. This was invisible ego on him.

That reason was informed by his father to Bahubali. Bahubali owned the mistake. He rectified himself the mistake.

Then he restarted the Penance. He attained the result. God’s has showered the rain of flowers.

So many murthys of Penancing while standing were come into existence.

In Udupi district a 42 feet height Bahubali murty as Gomatheswara was established by Veerapandya Bhairava Raju on 13th February 1432.

This murthy was not belonging to Jain Religion only.

Two feet land without expecting anything from others property anymore, the shedding of ego, severe industry, & Love of Brothers – it was the symbol too.

Today was February 13. Let us follow the good qualities of Bahubali.
