Perfume to Axe! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 19th March.

Guru Hari Roy was seventh Guru of Sikhs. Hari Roy was the grandson of 6th Guru of Sikhs HarGovind.

Hari Roy was roaming in the garden in his childhood. The cloths he wore were touched some of the flowers in the Garden and from that trees flowers were fallen.

Hari Roy was worried about the incident where the flowers were fallen from the trees in the Garden. This shows Hari Roy’s sensitive mind.

He was fond of hunting like his Grand Father. He has gone for hunting many times. But he has not killed any animal.

He brought some beautiful animals with him and arranged a zoo for him. This was the love he is having on animals.

He built various hospitals for the people who suffer from the diseases and arranged service to them.

Darashiko was the son of Moghalai King Shajahan, who was contemporary of Guru Hari Roy.

At that time the good relations with the Moghalai Kings were only so and so.

Darashiko was attacked with Poison. Shajahan did many a treatments to his son, but of no relief was there to Darashiko.

To get the relief to him, doctors told him to do some remedies through some items. But the items were not available anywhere.

Shajahan came to know that those items were available only in the hospital run by Guru Hari Roy. Immediately he has written a letter to Guru Hari Roy.

Immediately Guru Hari Roy responded and sent him the items. This was not liked by some.

Then Guru Hari Roy told that ‘The axe will cut the sandal tree. Then that axe would receive the perfume of that sandal tree’.

We should show humanity, though there would be cruelty in others.

Ram Roy was Guru Hari Roy’s son. Ram Roy has changed a word in Guru Granth Saheb by the request of King Aurangazeeb.

Guru Hari Roy got angry on knowing this. He could not tolerate his son for making a correction in Sikh’s holy book.

His son was about to made Guru for the Sikhs. Despite this, he expelled him from the Sikh community.

Jesus Chirst used to say that ‘Don’t think that I have not come here to change the sacred books or the discourses of great men, I have come here to fulfil them only’.

Ram Roy lost his Guru Hood. Hari Roy acted as jewel like hard, to keep the holiness of the Guru Grand Saheb, the holy book of Sikhs.

Such a Great Person who attained the Guru Hood on today i.e 19th March 1644.

Let us remember him today and remain like him from today itself.
