Son-in-law himself was Sadguruvu! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 1st September.

The fourth Guru of Sikhs was Ramadasu! He was born on September 1st, 1584. His childhood name was Bhaijetha.

Third Guru of Sikh Religion was Amardasu. His wife was Manasa Devi.

Their daughter Bibi Bhanani was ready for marriage. Manasa Devi has informed this to her husband.

 ‘Ok then, see the match told Amardasu. She has selected a boy who was going on the way. She felt that boy is suitable for her daughter.

Why should I think that other person, he is the most suitable one she felt? “Why such him, he’s right. No one can match him,” Jethanu chose.

His humbleness, interest in service and devotion to God have made all happy. Marriage was happened.

The most ordinary person like him have become the son-in-law of a Guru of Sikh community Amardas.

Ramadasu has become most important person in the head of Sikh community.

Happy with the behaviour of Jetha, Guru Amardas appointed him as the next guru of Sikh community.

Without appointing his sons to the post of the Next Guru, he has appointed the other person as the successor.

This decision of Guru Amardas was a controversial itself. The first Guru of Sikh community Nanak has made other person as his successor without appointing his sons.

The second Guru of Sikh Community, Guru Angad too appointed the other than his son as his successor.

Then the third Guru of Sikh Community Guru Amardas, has appointed his second son-in-law as his successor not appointed his sons.

Similarly the forth Guru of Sikh Community, this Guru Ramadas has appointed Guru Arjundev, the third son of him as his successor without appointing the first two sons as his successor.

Appointment of these Gurus was based on the faith of old gurus, and the power of newly appointed Gurus was taken into consideration.

Nanak’s son Shri Chand has come to this fourth Guru of Sikhs community.

On seeing the long beard of this Guru asked the reason, for which he replied that to clean the dust at the feet of great people like you.

Saying this He was about to clean the dust of the feet of Shri Chand humbly. That humility has astonished everybody.

On September 1st, 1784 Guru Ramadas has left his body.

Today is September 1st, his death anniversary.
