Disciple Put Auspicious Mark on forehead of his Master! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 6th October.

The Satcharita of SAI BABA informs us that only wisdom and detachment take you to self realisation.

One keeper of animals come to Guru Nanak dev, the first Guru of Sikh community and offered him Namaskaram and said ‘Oh! Merciful Being! It is a fortune to have your appearance.

Please relieve me from this life and death’s play’ he prayed to Guru Nanak dev.

‘You are little one, How could you get such a spiritual thoughts?’ asked Guru Nanak dev.

‘Yesterday there were some military people entered the garden, and ruined the trees there.

After seeing the trees fall down, man also could be entering such a fate I felt, that’s why I wanted to go the situation, where no one gets death’ he said.

That boy’s name is Bura. On seeing Bura Gurunanak dev commented that ‘You thought like a big man’. Since then Bura has become Budda.

He has become one of the followers of Guru Nanak dev. Budda has got the praises from all.

He lived for 125 years. His morality was attracted by six sikh Gurus.

When Guru Nanak dev has appointed Angad as Sikhs next Guru, it was Budda who has given the tilakam to him.

Not only that but when four others Gurus appointed to Sikh community also, it was Budda who has given Tilakam to them.

Sikh’s fifth guru was Guru Arjundev. Arjun Dev’s wife was Gangadevi. She was not conceived.

She told the same thing to Guru Arjundev and asked him to bless her. ‘It was not me to bless you, but Budda’ told Guru Arjundev.

Next day she prepared a party meal and gone to Budda with family in a Palakian, and prostrated him.

Budda has not taken the prasadam offered by her. She told this to her husband Guru Arjundev.

Then Guru Arjundev told her what was to be done.

Ganga Devi prepared the food herself, went to Bhai Budda on foot and offered food.

Bhai Budda has taken a onion from her plate by one hand and with another hand he broken it.

‘Have you seen this? Like this the son would be born to you who could kill the enemies’ thus blessed her.

He was Har Govind. No pomp and shows were attracted Buddha.

There was a Gurudwara in his name.

Today is October 6th, Baba Budda’s birth anniversary.

Let us live like him without any pomp and show.
