Do not bow your head to anyone! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 30th May

SAI BABA used to say that ‘My Treasury is full. Come, dig and take it in carts’.

‘Oh Brother! Earn the wealth from Hari. That would not be burnt by fire. Would not sink by water? Would not leave you wherever you go’ said Sikh’s Guru Arjundev.

He made Muslim Called Mia Meer to lay foundation stone for Golden Temple and such was his poise.

His foresightedness could not be understood by anyone, as he made most poise and divine Guru Granth Saheb into Book, left it in Har Mandir. That Book (anthology) of verses became the Sikh’s Eleventh Guru.

The wife of Guru Arjun Dev was Matha Ganga. The couple did not have children.

Like other devotees she also prayed for children. ‘To fulfil your wish means fulfilling my wish. I have to fulfil the wishes of others, but not mine’ Guru Arjun Dev replied to his wife.

It explains the scenerio how a Guru should behave carefully. When she prayed for several times, he asked her to pray for other great men’s blessings.

Guru Arjun Dev’s father, Sikh’s fourth Guru Ramdas has to go Lahore during a Marriage ceremony.

But due to work pressure his first son Preetichand and second son Mahandev refused to go.

On the orders of his father Guru Arjun Dev went to Lahore. Arjundev showed how he kept the word of his Guru and Father.

Jealous of Guru Arjun Dev’s fame, doubtfulness Jahangir jailed Guru Arjundev and tortured him.

He used to pour hottest sand on Guru Arjundev and made him to sit on hottest iron rods.

Even then Guru Arjundev have not moved, he said ‘Oh Mind! When Harjee looking after your welfare, why should feel sad’.

Peer Miyan Meer moved  after seeing the torture to Guru Arjun Dev.

Peer Miyan Meer  wanted to burn Lahore City with his spiritual powers but Guru Arjun Dev didn’t agreed.

‘Oh Prabhoo! You are my Ornament. Whatever you give there will be peace in it’ said Guru Arjun Dev.

Since Guru Arjun Dev didn’t broke-down for any tortures, his detractors wanted to wrap him in Cow’s skin after removing its meat.

‘I would fear to Har only not to others’ said Guru Arjun Dev, ‘After taking last bath in this River, you can implement your punishment’ said Guru Arjun Dev.

Then he stepped in to river while chanting Jap Ji and disappeared to everyone’s astonishment. That day was May 30, 1606.

Today was May 30th, the day Guru Arjun Dev vanished by himself. Let us remember him and follow his wish.

‘With the folded hands, I request you a boon, Oh Sahab Nanak, Bless Me, Your Prayers and Meditations would remain in every breath, day and night.
