Value of Prasad (Offering)! …Maheneeyulu – 2020 – 13th April.

‘Unless there is some relation, no one goes to other’ SAI BABA used to say.

That was 1883, the month of Vyshakha. Ramakrishna Paramahansa was sitting at Kalamandir in Dakshineswar.

One farmer has brought his dead son by snake bite in his shoulders.

Ramakrishna Paramahansa told him to make him lie down at the outside of the temple, somebody would come there the farmer followed the advice of Ramakrishna Paramahansa.

Sometime has passed. Then a Bhajan Party has come there. The party’s leader was Baaraa Baba (Radha Raman Charan).

Baara Baba was wearing a silk Punjabi kurta. There were golden buttons on the kurta.

He was carrying a stick in his hand, wearing shoes to his legs, he has come while singing bhajan. It was first time that Baaraa Baba met Ramakrishna Paramahansa.

Ramakrishna Paramahansa has come out. He also singing the songs and danced with the Party.

After completion of the Sankeertana, Ramakrishna Paramahansa told Radha Raman as if he knows him for many a days ‘I was kept here at Dakhineswar, you were kept at Nadia’.

‘You have to revive this boy’ said Ramakrishna Paramahansa showing the farmer’s son.

‘That can be done by you itself’ said Radha Raman Charan. ‘No. It is to be done by you only’ said Rama Krishna Paramahansa. It was you, not you both of them indulged in the discussion for some time.

At last Radha Raman Charan agreed and then started Nama Sankeertan.  Everyone has participated in the Nama Sankeertan.

All the expensive dresses wore by Radha Raman Charan were vanished while all were watching.

Only loin cloth tied in a truss has remained on his body. Radha Raman Charan was not having the conscious that he was not wearing any dress on his body while singing Nama Sankeertan, and  Rama Krishna Paramahansa too.

Then a Naga Snake has come and  it has taken the poison from the part of that Boy’s body, drank the milk kept there and eaten the Banana Fruit and then left towards southern side of the temple.

All this scene was a dream like situation to those who were watching it. That boy then revived.

Radha Raman Charan was doing a Sankeertan at Puri along with some of his devotees,

one person from the Puri Ashram has come and asked him to come for Maha Prasadam once.

Charan’s Party was like beggars wearing torn dresses. For them on the Road itself Maha Prasadam was about to be served in a torn leaf plate.

Radha Raman Charan has spread his Upper Cloth on the floor and put the Torn Leaf Plate on it and then asked them to serve the Maha Prasadam.

That was the value given to Maha Prasadam. It is not enough to do the Food Charity.  The food Charity’s Value should also be known.

Today was Radha Raman Charan’s Birth Anniversary, April 13th (1853).
