The reputation for the famous portrait at Dwaraka Mayee of SAI BABA which was given for future generations was belonging to Shri Shyamram Jayakar.

Shri Jayakar has got many experiences during SAI BABA’s presence. He shared an experience that happened in the month of Ashadha (July).

A devotee by name Varde has sought permission from SAI BABA to perform the Sathyanarayana pooja. SAI BABA agreed. Varde was a very shrewd person. He asked SAI BABA to give him money as he has no money. SAI BABA was not having money at that time. SAI BABA has turned His looks towards Shyamrao Jayakar then. Shyamram Jayakar was sitting at Sabha Mandap in Dwaraka Mayee at that time.

Jayakar has seen Varde many a times there. But there was no personal acquaintance with him.

Varde directly went to Shyamrao Jayakar and told him that SAI BABA asked him to take money from you to perform Satyanarayana Pooja. Shyamrao Jayakar asked him how much money was required. Varde replied him that  Rs. Two and Five annas.

Jayakar immediately counted the total money in his pockets. Exactly Rs. Two and Five annas were only there with him. That was the miracle of SAI BABA felt Shyamrao Jayakar and gave that money to Varde. Varde has brought the material for the Pooja.

Varde was a shrewd devotee. He wanted to perform Sayanarayana Pooja by thinking SAI BABA as His Satyanarayana Swamy.

SAI BABA did not agree for this. But after pressure from his devotee SAI BABA finally agreed.

Then Varde has put two Banana bulbs on both the sides of SAI BABA and put a canopy of Bamboo strips decorated around SAI BABA. The Pundit at the pavilion has read the story of Satyanarayana swamy. Everyone present there listened to that story.

That was a delightful and charming view. We should imagine the ambiance of dwarkamayee and feel happy.

A devotee by name M.V.Sahasrabudde has got dream that after the Maha Samadhi of SAI BABA, he got the vision that there was Satyanarayana Pooja at Samadhi Mandir, all the offerings had gone to Samadhi of SAI BABA.

Sansthan confirmed that there was Satyanarayana Pooja in realty on that day.
